Dizi will push the button and send both fractions to hell. :p

It's one of many possibilities of course. ;)

It's a beautiful day here. I wanted to go to Cracow to look for new flat, but I postponed it to Friday, I cant miss first summer day in forest.

Speaking of elections and voting, my country is having one this Saturday. As it is divided into areas, mine is a walkover so I don't have to vote.

Dizi is the elections over at your place a big issue? Over here for the past 2 weeks, there's news about parties debating everyday on TV and in the newpapers.

The good thing about elections is that it is a public holiday. Since it fall on a day that I'm not working, I get a day added to my leave. :D

Elections are a big deal to some people, we have party political broadcasts on different stations, to let those who are voting know what the issues are and what the parties plans are. The genral election is a little more over hyped then the local elections as for the genral we its voting for who we want to run the contry while local is just more to do with who wants best for the local area.

As for holidays we don't get a public holiday, the first schools (5 to 9 years) in our area get the day off as they use the schools as the polling stations.

And on to a better story for me I have just gotten the best deal on a game today, I often look in the games shops in the area for second hand adventure games as normally I can get a really good deal and today I did.
I got the the zork legacy collection which has zork nemesis return to zork and the first five text adventures in the collection for 99p not just that But it was buy one get one free and I also found Zork Grand Inquisitor for 99p as well so I got 8 games for 99p :D I think that was such a great deal

Heathen, In democracy abstention means that you don't care if The Devil himself would run your country and your town hall.

Now really, it's your zone where you live, work, study and you have the nerve of saying it doesn't make a difference? I have just seen that you are run by the LibDem (at least in the recent years) with Labour being the sole opposition.

I suppose you're not going to tell us what you think of it/them (running the council?
Dizi is the elections over at your place a big issue?
So that you know what a point is big issue, let's just say that even in Portugal Newpapers, they talk about it and they interviewed Timothy Garton Ash about his opinion.

Besides thanks to the recent scandals with the government, the scenery lies like this; if Labour looses only less than 150 seats it's like a victory for Blair, between 200 and 300 it's managable, more than 350 and he will surely be forced to resign, assuming of course they don't loose London or some other major city

BTW: SGSW. I know you wanted to join, but it is actually not me but Chillum you have to tell. It would be great if you could PM him and let him know. It's just that it is his job, and I don't wan't to remove responsibilities from him. (In other words, it is not because I am nit-picking :D )

Well you just got the position so there are of course some things you are not aware of yet. The games can be found in the freeware games forum, and there are links to them in there. They are then playtested by you and voted on in the game hunters forum. If you think they match our criteria then you vote an according vote. When all gamehunters have voted on a game it will be decided wether it is going to be on this site or not...

/me enters the tavern after a long absence..

May I join to you SG & Curl? I could warm my old bones next to this fire for a while... I decided tonight that my c++ excercisework is ready. I know it was far from good program, but it did contain all required coding technicues + couple of others too.. In fact, I admitt that I got a bit carried away with it... I could have made a program which would have done all required tasks with let's say 300 lines of code.

Now I had about 20 codefiles, with 10 of them containing more than 300 lines :D And documentation I did ended up to be 92 A¤ sized pages long... Heck, I would not like to be the one who validates my work :D

Oh, and on the otherhand, I did the next (and final) excercise for that course too... It took the whole half an hour from me! It's odd how things vary.. Sometimes you sit and code for 3 weeks for one work, and next work is finished, documented and returned in less than an hour :/

But now, now I think I have deserved a little sleep...

And Welcome on board mariesa, I assume we have not been introduced to eachothers, so I'm FM. And I'm glad to see you here, now here's at least one who did not say a thing about politics! :)

Good night peeps, I'm glad to have you here, It's refreshing to read your posts, even though I do not have much time to post myself at the moment :)

Congrats to SGSW-san for becoming member of the Game Hunters! Oh, and hiya F(ootball)M(anager)-san, Chroelle-san, mariesa-san, Chillum-san, Dizi-san, JKSM-san and eMTe-san having posted here of late! :p

It feels weird having so little to worry about... next Tuesday is the day for my last exam this semester, after which it'll be work again all summer (apart from one week of holidays in July ^_^). Personal problems have given up, how disappointing...

:balloon:

Off to sleep!

edit: Yay, I got myself a job; I'm a servant, no longer need to rely on the unemployment benefits! Now, where's my new employer, or should I say 'master'? ^^;

Go ahead and tell them, Chroelle. It's something that benefits everyone here at the forum. That's all I'll say. :)

Tell us what? I noticed we are at 98 members. Only two more until we reach 100 members. Should we prepare a surprise party?

That would be nice. ;) Maybe the 100th member could get a special congratulations on being the 100th member. :D

Pitkin nice to see you around. See your temporarily back in the rat race. :P

Strangely I found out no too long ago that certain people with lower qualification than me and doing the same job were getting $500 to $1,000 more. Unbelievable. However, pay doesn't matter as much to me as job scope. With all the changes lately, my job scope doesn't seem to give as much satisfaction. :|

No surprise parties unless it's a missing regular of the very old guard like Macias,, Lex, Gendo ... you know what I mean.

On the other hand, I have been a little busy, so I'll try to start working tomorrow or Sunday on the games testing

I'll tell you all what then: I'm donating a gigabyte of storage space from my website hosting to Chroelle. My hosting package I have gives me two Gigabytes, and I am only using about a few MB out of it (Or something like that), so I could give CWF some extra space for expansion, and still have plenty for my own usage. And I'm usually not even using 1% of my allocated bandwidth, so that's not a concetn of mine either.

Other than that, I'm totally not with it today, I just got back from the Emergency Room, and they gave me some heavy painkillers for my back. I had back spasms today and could hardly breathe. It was pretty bad.
