I was also unable to access OG for the past few days. Had left OG as my default homepage and it goes to Dell search page (whenever it cannot access a site) - smart of Dell :P .

Ever since they hired more people into my department, I have less things to do. Hmm, wonder if it's good or bad. However, any overtime is needed now and I ever have free time to do less important things like filing up documents. Much of my free time had been spent on watching. Now that I have slightly more free time (not that much), I had the mood to play some old game. Anyway, don't know will happen these days.

SGSW, I'll have a lemonade instead. The milk might turn into yogurt by the time I get back after you get it. :D Hmm, somehow this simlie  looks better than :D except it's nicer in yellow than green.

As have I. :(

I'm watching over my parents' cat while they're out of town, and she seems to have decided that the middle of the night was a good time to want to be played with, and woke me up. Now I can't get back to sleep. Oh well, I fixed part of the trackage on my model railway that was giving my large engnes trouble.

You don't need an excuse to come in here :D

It's good to see you. I hope that OG isn't totally down. But if it is, then I hope that people remembered to bookmark this page... :oldrant:

This actually annoys me quite a bit, since it seems that alot of members didn't understand the fact that this could happen anytime soon and decided to drop in here. Fortunately some of them are to be found in other ways..

Hm... Does anyone miss anybody in particular?

You're still too pesimistic  . C'mon, there must be a girl who will accept this "everything". Women generally seek for four types of men:

a) handsome
b) rich
c) handsome and rich
d) not too handsome, not rich, but just good man, possibly good husband and father in future

It's obvious which option is the best, however finding proper woman with rational demands was always a hard task. Of course I assume that you qualify to the fourth option :p (unless you qualify to the two first options too, but ideals dont exist).

Yep, OG is down, I wont say that I wish it's closed for good, but whole situation has become rather tiresome for me... Sometimes it's better to leave everything behind and start doing new things...if you know what I mean... ;)

I think I know :D :D :D :D

I too think that the situation has become rather tiresome, mostly because I don't know which members are aware of this place, or if they don't bother coming here, or if they will ever return to OG and see my PM's.

hmm...I need to learn some php, we need a quick quote button me thinks.

Firstly, I agree JKSM, is way cooler than :D

Well at least now I know why the other forums are so quiet...the party has moved over here!

You are right Diz & Chroelle, I haven't been frequenting here as much as I could have...no excuses. But speaking of missing people...has Wogglus or Leo or HD (& clan) shown up here yet?...if not, I hope they do.

eMTe, I haven't read the previous posts in here yet so I don't fully understand the context of your post, but I can say one thing definite about the ladies:

Just when you figure out what they want and supply it , they change their mind and want something different. ;)

Woglus is here. His name is Zandrav Ibistenn or something. Lleo I talked to and he would join eventually. HD would drop by when his "tour" is over or something. By clan I guess you mean Ladytramp. I haven't talked to her about it yet.

Hounddawg is in military training till the middle of May. I talk to Tramps_lady over the phone a bit and have told her about this site. So they know about the site, but weather they join, that's their decision of course.

I'm looking forward to HD getting out of miliatry training- depending on gas prices, they may come up to meet me in person when he's out.

I thought Eric lived in Sydney? Also I remember reading that he had shortened his nickname from 'Eric the Viking'...so I punched this stuff into google and found some tracks that might be him;

Only problem is that the thread is 1 year old. :(

Strangely, the other day I was searching for something in googles and ended up looking at the old posts of some including my own in the 'favourite genre' thread. When a site's gone, there are still some memories you can find under the googles cache.

As for finding people through other forums might be difficult as they may not be posting that often.

I am thinking that for effect I will make a thread where we can discuss the closing of OG. What to do about it and if there is anything we can do about it...

I just sent out an email...

I have made the thread with a point saying current situation. This means that we can adjust the thread whenever the situation changes. I have explained what it is like now. This way people can also see what the situation has been like since today and forward. Maybe that will encourage people to join up here, and save a link for it...
Please move all discussion to that thread...
