No actually Nena made two versions. 99 luftballons was such great hit internationally that the commercial functions in the 80's decided she had to do a version in English, and so she made 99 red balloons.

The reason that I have had it on my brain is simply that it is one of my GF's favourite song (One of her fav songs, not one of my girlfrinds (plural)). But unfortunately for her, she doesn't understand German, so I had to sit her down and translate it one day into Danish. It was very cozy and she was quite shocked to find out what the lyrics were.
She always thought it was a FUN PARTY song, and not so doomsday like, and speaking of war as it is.
After sitting down and going through the lyrics I actually started to like it (I always hated it in the past).

There has been made a punk cover of it also. Right now I cannot remember who made it, but I would guess on MXPX or Goldfinger... If anyone has the right answer, please save my day. I can't stop thinking of it before I find the right answer.

Even though I have been/is a little sick... But I havent been drinking as much as I should have

Well my holidays have been great. Very productive...
I assembled a giant dresser, put up shelves, took down shelves and then put up shelves once more. We have moved around in the appartement, so that most of out wishes of how the appartement should be have now come to life

I finished a lot of things for my work also, so I am now ahead of schedule...
I have also done some webdesign-work and of course posted quite a lot in here.

Well, I have been drinking way too much, but my holidays included girls, alcohol, parties and a little pc so it can't have been that bad.

And Tank, since you don't like punk, there's no wondering you don't like the punkversion

*Chillum hurries behind the bar and finds a little piece of paper with a map on it...*

*Follows the line on the map through the maze...*

*Smells...*

"Sniff sniff! I smell perfume! I think it's Chanel No. 5! And theres another thing also.. hmm.."

*Smells...*

"Sniff.. Yearh, no doubt! Malibu!"

*Not surprised to find Dizi lying fainted on the ground with a bottle of Malibu in her hand, and booze and beer enough to supply europe, Chillum takes his Speed Marker and draws all over Dizi's head...*

*Chillum decides to look in dizi's pocket, and finds a list of every bar on CWF's beer and booze supply*

"Oh my god!"

*Burns the list, and grabs all his supplies (Don't ask how..

), and heads for the Danish International Corner...*

"Mystery solved

Hope Dizi's able to get out..."

*Puts his supplies back to the bar, and locks it in with more advanced equipment than there is in the Louvre museum..*
