Icarus... Hmmm, makes me think of Ikarus, the Serbian bus builder who in some way is related to North American Bus Industries, builder of the buses in Waukegan.
Anyway, just got an order for three machines to be built today, so free beer for all!

True. Retaliator is probably known more as Rettie. He is a very active member on OG, and have had many good discussions with people in the senate AFAIR.
So Welcome to him too, he still needs to post I think. Oh yeah - his avatar is the smoking man from X-files... I thought that might help you.
And LEynos is planning on being Leynos again in here.

Mariesa is German. (And this time I am sure.)
So to Mariesa: Es freudet mich dich hier zu sehen. Ich hat gedacht das niemal von die Deutscher Ecke wollten hier kommen wenn sie Tanks post lesen.
Translated: Im glad to see you here. I thought that noone from the German corner would come in here after reading Tanks post.
(He wrote that this forum dind't look very good. And I responded that it was in the amking and therefor you shouldn't judge it by it's looks.)
Welcome Mariesa. (Schreiben bitte ein PM zu mich weil etwas gibts dass du fragen wollen.) (Und einmal mehr: Entshuldigung für meiner schlechter Deutsch)

(Ah, so this is the ever so popular bar. I will play this game too
).
*A shadowy figure moves silently along the walls of the bar unnoticed. In his hand a long cylinder, in fact a rolled-up poster, contains important information for the merry and blithe guests of the bar. The poster is hastily put up where it will be seen, but nobody notices before the secretive guest has vanished without a trace.
In large inviting letters the text on the poster reads: In the words of Aristotle: 'The happy life requires exertion, and does not consist in amusement. If happiness is activity in accordance with virtue, it is reasonable that it should be in accordance with the highest virtue; and this will be that of the best thing in us. Whether it be reason or something else that is this element which is thought to be our natural ruler and guide and to take thought of things noble and divine, whether it be itself also divine or only the most divine element in us, the activity of this in accordance with its proper virtue will be perfect happiness.'
Heeding the words of Aristotle and contemplating that the highest virtue is reason, I urge you to leave your drinks for a moment and pay the oracle a visit. It is a thankful place, rewarding those brave enough to ask the right questions. However, the oracle depends on your input; if nobody comes there to participate the gods of wisdom become angry and punish the "mentally relaxed" with ignorance.
Recently new threads have arisen there and demand your attention. Browsing alone is insufficient; first pondering and then actively parcipating are activities of paramount importance, lest the wrath of the gods shall rain down upon us.
I anxiously await your replies.

Awakened, the barguests reading the poster suddenly feel an irresistible compulsion driving them toward The Oracle.

And so spoke zarathustra....
*Chroelle walks into a bar with a rabbi and a priest....*
*The bartender looks at him and say*
why a rabbi and a priest....?
*Chroelle looks over his shoulder at his two companions....*
I don't know, they must have followed me from the Oracle...

@eMTe, you're right- because on NABI's website, they say the busses are actually built in Hungary then shipped in parts to Alabama, USA and assembled here, and driven to their final destination. Get confused because there is a Serbian road set for Transport Tycoon that I've been playing with, and watching the discussions on tt-forums.net.
Anyway, I will have to check out the Oracle, I figure.

My English skills aren`t so fantasic, either.
the other guys from the german corner are very nice and tank mean it well. oldgames is the second home for most of them. thats why they`re very critical.
But I think they will follow

in this spirit: "Einen wunderschönen abend euch allen"
and: "ich geb ne lokalrunde aus. alle getränke auf mich"
(I hope some of you will understand this)

Danke
Ich trinken mit di frohlich.
I don't think Tank was out to sabotage the forum, I just wanted to make things clear before that was the general idea of the German corner. That CWF didn't look very promising, and so no one wanted to visit. So I have no hard feelings toward Tank.
And OG was my second home too, that is one of the reasons this forum is created. To avoid loosing all those "friends from the block".

OG was a second home to a lot of people, the atmospher there was amazing and 99% of the time everyone got a long and were able to be nice to the new guys rather than on some forums where if you are new you aren't respected and sometimes treated as if your opinions didn't matter.
Yes this forum doesn't look so great now, but looks are not everything. Its the people on the forum that mean more then how it looks
and a big welcome to all the new members, please enjoy yourself

But that is no reason to let the forum go and not make it look great which is the idea for this place too.
After all we want QUALITY in here. I am also going to find a DESIGN TEAM at some point. Let me know if this is something you are interested in. The job as CHIEF designer is still open

Ohh, I'm feeling terrible... I'm going to have the macroeconomics exam within an hour from now, and I feel like not everything was alright within myself.
Thank goodness I'll get to go to my parents' place for the long weekend... I want to sleep away this feeling of anxiety...
Dizi-san, isn't it so that the person with most qualifications should always be nominated to the positions at hand? What was that talk about being a designer, then?

a designer...me where did you get that idea from?
From me? why would I tell you a thing like that?
I hope you feel a little better Pitkin and that your exam went well (is going well ).

I haven't been feeling like myself for quite sometime, I have sliped into a bit of a rut but that changes today. I am pulling myself back to being how I used to be. Instead of this realy lazy 'i'll do it tomorrow' me I have been for a while.

Hello everybody!
So, I just registered with your forums. I think some of you know me from OG.

Chroelle, please don't take me wrong, I read your Announcement at OG and was a bit upset (no, really!) and when I looked at it, it seemed quite unfinished.... I didn't realize then it's a Work In Progress Thing at the time. But now I'm here and let's paaaarty!!Chroelle wrote:I thought that noone from the German corner would come in here after reading Tanks post.

Very glad to see you in here Tank. I would like to underline:
I have no hard feelings towards you or your post in the German Corner.
I just wanted to make it clear for everyone that it was a work in progress! So if you want to be part of the process, then this is it
@Pitkin: Best wishes. I know you can do it. Just take your last exam as an example. You aced that one TOO.
*Chroelle sends brainwaves of energy Pitkins way to hopefully help him*
@Dizi: Well, let's see if I can make a PM sometime within the next 24 hours. I'm going to an easter lunch today. (REad: Social gathering at my in-laws where I usually end up with a hangover the next day.)
@Baldie: I nominate Dizi too
But if anyone want's to challenge her, feel free. And a Head of design needs a team...
