Ultimate Stunts

Post by Chroelle »

A remake of the old DSO classic "Stunts".

This is opensource and as such it is not yet in version 1.0 as most open source games never hit that mark really. :D

Go take a look at the site and see what you think.

Sounds interesting. I loved the original game. I'll have a look at the remake.

Ultimate Stunts is a great "remake" of Stunts - the classic. I was afraid it would be very bad, but it actually plays alot like the old game, and the editor included is only slightly more complicated than the original - which was half the game back then.
However I couldn't find a "new map" option in the editor and that annoys me. I dont want to go and delete every tile of an existing map just to create my own. So if you find a New Map button please let me know.
The game plays great, and the start-up tune is great. I was in the mood within seconds. Unfortunately it ends after that, and then there is no more music - just the highpitched sound of engines racing... Still a great game, and I hope they keep developing this so that it can become perfect.
