Marvel Super Heroes

Post by Chroelle »

Who wouldn't want to play this?

It is a fighting game with all your loved Marvel Super heroes (and villains).

Year: 2007
Developer: SpiDoL
Download: http://www.caiman.us/scripts/fw/f2863.html
Size: 164 MB

Developers description and general notes:
I have created Marvel Super Heroes, a fighting game made using the MUGEN Game Engine.
The game includes an arcade mode, team battle, survival, and watch mode.

The roster of heroes are :
Blackheart, Cable, Captain America, Colossus, Cyclops, Doctor Doom, Gambit, Hulk, Iceman, Iron Man, Juggernaut, Magneto, Marrow, Omega Red, Psylocke, Rogue, Sabretooth, Sentinel, Shuma-Gorath, Silver Samurai, Spider-Man, Spiral, Storm, Thanos, Venom, War Machine, Wolverine.
Dr. Doom and Thanos serve as bosses in Arcade mode.

The stages are :
Abandoned Carnival
Avengers HQ
Blue Area of the Moon
Hell
Uptown Express
Stark Enterprises
Avalon
Moon Night
Mutant Hunting
Mutant Graveyard
New York Harbor
Stark Enterprises
Streets of Manhatten
Daily Bugle
Latverian Submarine
Galactic Throne

To configure the video and sound, go to "data/mugen.cfg"

Authors Note :
Also, there's a hidden character in the game: the Sentinel. Here's how to unlock him:
Open up "data\select.def". Scroll down until you see:
drdoom, stages/....
randomselect
thanos, stages/....
Replace that randomselect with:
0senti, random
And you have the Sentinel!

Remake. Wonder if he got the Infinity Gems from the original in there?

Fine MUGEN remake, though...

-no infinity gems
-interlaced graphics (ugly)
-dreadful colors on some secondary costumes
-a totally broken move that almost guarantees a win for some characters

Duking it out, Marvel style, is still fun though.

Seems to be a nice M.U.G.E.N. game, but the music is broken for me. Has anyone an idea what I can do about this?

I had some quite ugly graphical issues and some very annoying gameplay issues where a specific character became undefeatable in EASY mode. But it is cool that you can choose from such a wide variety of marvel characters!
