I think it's a bit unfair to have Team Fortress 2 there, considering it's pretty old game, and I think the correct summary is "war-themed hat simulator", but anyway, a nice poll. :D

Also, I don't think anyone enjoyed GIRP.

Thank you for your feedback. Team Fortress 2 qualifies for the list of Best Freeware Games of 2011 because it was released as free to play in 2011 only. GIRP was an unusally hard game. The list also contains games that were requested by the readers in the nominations phase http://www.techsupportalert.com/content ... s-open.htm. And the poll is for the Reader's Choice List. There will be a separate list for Editors Choice of 20 Best Freeware Games of 2011. :D

Actually there were many other games that should have featured like FRACT or Way etc....but they might be super early alpha or beta stages, probably you can see them up there during 2012 or something and give full credit to their stable versions

I believe I havent visited your site a single time, even accidentally. Interesting idea - freeware site without freeware games, but with articles and reviews. Good job!

I agree on the best free card game. Pysol is a game i like a lot, mainly because of the music, but the whole game is solid, and there's a lot of different games in it.
