Legend of Grimrock

Post by eMTe » Sat Feb 11, 2012 23:50

If you look for an oldschool single-player rpg... Well, this one's in development, but looks strong. Blackcryptish or even eyeofthebeholderish I would say. Or even dungeonmasterish.

Looks great, but I just saw that there will only be real-time combats. I prefer turn-based ones a lot when it comes to RPGs.

If it's real time like Eye of the Beholder, I can live with it.

Realtime battles are scary, huh?

I bought it yesterday, and it's a really excellent puzzle game. I'd go so far as to say it's not really much of an RPG. Even combat should be approached as puzzles.

Yay, I beat it! But I still need to find 8 secrets.......

This is so far the best game I've played this year.

Legend of Grimrock

My favorite is The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past for SNES. I played that game so much. I still play it occasionally.
