Icons disappear from taskbar's notification area

Post by eMTe »

Every now and then icons from my taskbar 's notification area disappear for no apparent reason. In fact it is only Gadu Gadu (messenger) which does and usually it happens after starting windows (but the process is running). Very rarely it happens that all icons disappear (like 1 hour ago). Now all I see is clock, volume setting and language settings. All other icons - antivirus software, messenger and whatever is usually there are absent. Only rebooting computer helps. Any explanation for this?

Really stupid question, but is there a button like (<) on the left of the notification area. I also recall that if you right-click in a good position on the notification area, there's a menu option called "add/remove notifications" or something like that.

Usually there is a button of course, but this time even it disappeared.

I think it has something to do with my comp being sluggish recently.
