What is the status of MJ games? Are some of them freeware? Sites Ive found are in German and not too informative. Sure, one can download various MJ games, but sources usually arent reliable.

This seems to be free:

But at the same time it seemed that lots of the games were for sale at 9.99. So it seems some are freeware. I tried reading some of the sites in German until I found the English flag...

The problem I have is that there are tens of various versions. And I can bet one or two are freeware, most likely first, historical chapters. But I'm not so good in German to find what EXACTLY is freeware and what isnt for sure. Downloading all games from suspicious sites seems like waste of time...

I'm not sure that any of the games are freeware. The original "Moorhuhn Jagd" was freeware when it was released (it was an advertisement game for a whiskey company if I remember correctly). But very soon it was such a huge success that they started to milk the cow and released loads of "Moorhuhn" games that were sold in the shops.

Not sure if the original game stayed freeware (in the original form) or if it was sold too. I will take a closer look at it as soon as find the time.

Please remind me if I don't write anything in here during the next week...

I don't see a download link. Just an option to play it online and a link to amazon where you can buy the full game including bonus material...
