Bug correction / feature creation scheduling..

Hi Dee Ho!

Thank's to Zyx we have updated version of mantis bug tracker online. It allows targeting the bug corrections in specific versions. Since we do not really have any release cycle, but instead updates/bugfixes are done on a fly, I just created 'monthly versions' in mantis. This means that when we target a bugfix in certain month's version, we are trying to fix the bug at the end of the month mentioned in 'version name'.

This makes it at least look like we have some kind of plans to conquer the bugs, so please, if you have open bugs assigned to you, go and update the target version if you have some estimate when issue is fixed.

When issues are targeted to some version, they will appear to the roadmap.

Well, perhaps the roadmap can motivate us a bit more :)

Good idea. I just dont know how to add issues to the roadmap...
I would like to have that option so I can control which things will be targeted when.. I have some things that have been hanging over my head that Ireally need an official deadline for.

I see however that I have Content for developerpages unresolved and targeted. I will look at that ASAP, since I believe it is almost done. But just layout.

Pretty easy. For existing issue, select 'update issue', and fill the Target Version from drop down box. When issue is targeted to non released version, it will emerge to the roadmap.

I did the 'auto update thread icon when game is added' hack to Zyx's game edit tool. Hope it works. If it dont - blame Varny.

This should be interesting to try out... So that means that the icon in the games-thread in Freeware games Forum is changed to the CWF-icon when the game gets added, and we dont have ot go do it??? :D

Yes. If you fill in the correct link to game thread - and if it works.

I'm not sure if it is possible to post screenshots in the bugtracker, so I abuse this thread to tell you about a bug. If you use certain resolutions, the download links on the frontpage are not were they are supposed to be. Here is an example:

Yep, there's a <br> tag missing between <Platform> and dl_button, but I've no idea which file to edit...

Added this as a bug in the bug tracker (and it looks like you can put files there...)

Actually I intentionally did not use br, since it makes the right side much longer than the left. My intention was to either use tables, or some more sophisticated method to align the button on right, but... Never found the time to actually do it... Just in case... Files are either site_main.tpl or site_main.php

Oh, right. Well, let's see what we can do about it.

Actually <br /> could be just ok.

It seems it has much more to do with platform than resolution... For instance MAC as a word is not long enough to "push" the download button to the far right.
But a /br could maybe do the trick. Is anyone doing it?

I think I might have now added the <br /> to correct place.
