Pretty sure it's John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom"...

I claim my blues knowledge is too extensive to exhibit here - Mississippi Sheiks anyone? Charley Patton? ;) - and so I'll throw out an easy one (i.e. not blues):

Dirty old river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night
People so busy, makes me feel dizzy
Taxi light shines so bright
But I don't need no friends

I know it from a german band, but I don't that you know them :D

thats why it must be a cover....

Since Dizi's right, and since Dizi isn't very active atm, I'll feel free to post a new song... :)

"When Your Light Is On The Blink
You Never Think Of Worrying
What's The Use Of Worrying?
When Your Bus Has Left The Stop
You'd Better Drop Your Hurrying
What's The Use Of Hurrying?......"

For anyone curious: This was Mrs Vandebilt By Paul McCartney.

Is this topic totally uninteresting or does anyone feel like reviving it?

Isn't this "guess topic" a little too Google easy?

Indeed. I think if it was to go on, then it should at least be altered so you couldn't just google the text.
Like: This songs verse could also be written like this:

Unclean aged stream, do you have to continue
Streaming into the dark hours
Men so stressed makes my head light
Cablights is so light
but I don't need companionship.

And that would be another version of:
Dirty old river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night
People so busy, makes me feel dizzy
Taxi light shines so bright
But I don't need no friends

I think this would be extremely hard so it had to be classics and hits that one used for this. That means no special lyrics from some hungarian band that nobody outside of Hungary have ever heard of. Even if they sing in English.

Anyone up for it?
