Congrats, Baldie! Hope you have many fantastic years to come :)

Just got the mass-mail, so thought it'd be rude not to pop in and say hi.
Hope everyone's well.

Hi Ancsur! And hi everyone! :D

I didn't even realize the forum was up and running! :o Up until now, I've been visiting this link which I had bookmarked and it takes me to an error page so I assumed Chroelle had the site down for maintenance or something. It's been like that for the past month. Have you guys all been here the whole time? I didn't know! (How embarrassing!)

Well, um... how's everyone doing? :)

EDIT: Erm... okay, wow! This is really weird! I'm actually Tormuse. I just wrote the above post and it put it in Ancsur2002's name! :Nerd: I seem to be somehow logged into Ancsur's account? What the hell?

EDIT: Okay, this is now Ancsur editing Tormuse's weird-ending link :D just to confuse everyone

Here I am in my proper account! :D So, yeah, how's everyone doing? :P

EDIT: Okay, I see what happened. Ancsur had just sent me a link to the forum to show that she had posted and I posted my response right afterward, only the link she sent me had all the gobbledeegook at the end that includes log-in information so when I posted my reply, the forum thought I was her. :D

Let that be a lesson to delete all that gibberish at the end of the URL when posting a link! :) Come to think of it, that link I posted in her name has gobbledeegook in it. Does that have my log-in info in it? And now I can't edit that post because I logged out of "her" account! Nooooo! D:

Okay, now I edited your link under my name

This sure was weird :D :D :D So now are you impersonating me or am I impersonating you? :D :D :D

Thanks, Ancsur! :D

Whew! I'm glad we got that sorted out. :) Now that everyone's in their proper accounts, I need a drink. Can I have a pálinka... erm... I mean orange juice? ;)

I hope the email didn't feel like spam. I noticed the old domain was gone and didn't want to lose people because of that. I sent it to all people who had ever posted something on this forum (~300 people in total). The digital decay had had its toll and almost one in four addresses didn't work anymore.

Nice that you guys found your way back here =)

Hi Zyx :)

No, it did not feel like spam at all I was genuinely happy :) thanks :) and yep, I guess lots of email addresses don't even exist anymore...
Great to be here again :)

:warm feelings of nostalgia:

@Tormuse: Of course you can have a pálinka ;) I always keep a bottle just in case you happen to visit ^^
And because I'm nice, you can have a glass of orange juice on the side :D

/me wonders whether I should start spamming all old threads(?) topics(?) (omg I've already forgotten the forum terminology) just to do something I used to do :D

Hey yo !
Thanks for the email.
Lots have happened in my life...
I've been living in France for half a decade.
I'm in a queer relationship with a loving partner and our place is covered with rainbows. We spend a lot of time playing computer games and going to the kitty café nearby.
I sport an "Evil man-hating feminist" thermos coffee mug, big glasses and blue hair.
Peace out!

This sounds beautiful, happy for you :)

Something has changed with CWF, on techy side, because Avast now doesn't let me in. So, CWF has been promoted to the top league of two sites that I visit that Avast is suspicious about.

The other one is Pirate Bay.

Hey Pitkin! Nice to see you! :D Sounds like life is going pretty well for you; glad to hear it! :) Kitty café, you say? Like a coffee shop that also has cats? That sounds awesome! :D

@Zyx, naw, it didn't feel like spam; it was quite welcome. As I mentioned above, I didn't realize the forum was still around, so if you hadn't sent it, I wouldn't have come back. :)

@eMTe, good to see you too. I hope life is treating you well. :) I find that my Android phone is suspicious of a lot of things that my home PC doesn't seem to care about. Computers are pretty mysterious sometimes. :P

@Ancsur, heheh, I was kidding about the pálinka, just sort of joke-pretending I was you, but since you're offering, I guess I'll have some...

*drinks pálinka*

*shudders*

*choke, gasp*

That's good stuff. *cough* :P I'd better chase it with the orange juice now. *Drinks orange juice*

No, it was the same message that keeps appearing when I open PB - that certificate-something-something isn't something-something. Well, it's ok now.

Hi Everyone,

*Looks around*
Seems like there's quite a crowd around here. :D
Haven't been here for a long time. Nice renovation. ;)
Got the mass email as well & thought of dropping in.

"Kitty café"? At first, I thought it was Hello Kitty café  like those other Theme cafes like Pokémon café, Doraemon café, Pompompurin café etc.
Animals café seems nice. Japan seemed to have quite a lot of them like dogs, cats, owls etc. My sister had ever taken photo with owls in the café when on holiday and one of them looked like the type from the Harry Potter movie and at the same time like a staff toy owl.

Haven't been gaming much for some time except for some handphone causal games on the long journey back from work.

Great that everyone's well.

We also have "cat café"s in Budapest, it's basically a coffee house that serves coffee, sandwiches, orange juice and the like, and has like a dozen cats that wander around. There's also a short rulebook on how to handle them if you have never encountered any cats before, and they make sure that every guest is nice and considerate with the cats. They are usually adopted cats. :) I love these places :)

@Tormuse, oh okay, now I get it :laughs: :D :D

@eMTe, I got the same message, that my login information is not protected and also the images can have a security hazard or something

The browsers started recently to warn if the user was filling a form on a non-secure page. This whole forum is now HTTPS secured always so you should not see any warnings - let me know if you do.

The certificate-something-something isn't something is probably due to the site using Cloudflare's shared HTTPS certificate (free!) instead of our own (costs monies!), but that shouldn't happen either.

Nope...didn't see one. LOL!

On the lighter side, I logged in a few months ago and tried to BUMP some old posts back into current reality, but was very unsuccessful. I believe I also had a nice conversation and round of "Guess the Whatever" with myself...ahh...always good to see actual people again. *insert tear here*
