Smilie wishes

Post by Chroelle » Wed Mar 01, 2006 19:58

Well as the description goes. This is where you ask us to upload specific smilies that you have, and would like to use on this board.

Please look through our smilies to check if we have the smilie already. We will consider the smilie ONLY if we do not have a similar one already, and a close copy isn't already present.

If we have a similar emotion pictured in a smilie and we don't see the need for two of the same kind, we will ask the members in a poll, which it should be. :)

Aren't the last half of the smilies too small? :(
And I would like a kind of smiley that hugs/kisses/pets the other... something kind :)

Yes they are. Monte is on the task of getting this problem solved...

If you could find a smilie that fits your description, please post it in here, and I will put it in.

All wishes for smilies will be accomodated here in the beginning, except of course, racial, flamming or otherwise abusive smilies.... Except the one we can't live without....

If standards are good, then double standards must be double as good :D

Usually I don't really care about any smilies, but I bumped into a couple of great smilies when browsing randomly a few weeks ago. ^_^

The blush one is very similar to the current one, I admit, but I claim mine is nicer. *nods firmly*

So, worth anything? ^^;

I also like the 'laugh' and 'grin' smilies attached below; not like there weren't any less over-the-top grins around as well, but these I found particularly funny. ^_^

I had a few others I found great as well, but cannot remember them right now... they'll be found in the future, though. *nods*

Will look at them later. But keep em coming. As said somewhere else, we will make polls on smilies, so the members united decide which smilies will be in here.

I think that the OG smile selection is pretty good

but the problem is that OG smiley was huge and like 1 million of them very pretty useless..
So that will just be filling up the server.. Then you had like 100 identical smileys, just with different colours..

yeah, but the smilies I have mentioned can be found there... I just don't know how to put them here. Should I past the codes from OG and then you go and find them? They are:

Well the smileys that you want, you can post like Pitkin did.. :)
My answer was aimed at SGSW, since he found the selection good.. They might be, but never used, hence not making it worth the effort :)

:mod: is done by :MOD: with small letters.
:shots: is done by :SHOTS: with small letters.

When I saw them I just had to add them right away :D

Aren't the last half of the smilies too small?
BTW: Fixed... :D

Any more smilie suggestions. Now would be a good time to submit :D

Also I'm thinking that we could start smilie voting in next week. So submit smilies like crazy for the next couple of days....

It's going to go down like this. I post a poll about a specific smilie. You tell me if it is worth something or not (e.g. would you ever use it), then if it is placed as "not doing it for you" then we will put up a post where you can submit smilies to take over it's place.

EDIT:

Smilies added:

 is  with small letters.
:faint: if :FAINT: with small letters.
:haha: is :HAHA: with small letters.

I looked at your pack eMTe and I have to sort through it to find suitable ones. Some where good, while others were not IMO... :)

I know which one youre thinking of (walking hand?), but I added it anyway, just to make your choice harder. ;)

Some of them are too small probably, but this problem can be easily overpassed with gif editor.

The following one is the ruler of all smilies, and has to be included if we're ever to be considered a serious forum. ^___^

I admit it doesn't really fit into the general trend, but I believe I can persuade everyone behind this smiley.

So, pretty please with sugar on the top.
