Summer spamfest

Post by eMTe »

Ive deleted 6 spam posts during last two days, so mild suggestion is - maybe we need new safety precautions.

All aboard - the spamtrain....
I deleted some too, and I am wondering if we could make some sort of protection that you need to investigate to get past... Like: What is the abbreviation for CurlysWorldofFreeware that we use on this site? What amount of stars did "This game" (linked) get? (A bit harder to do I believe).

I deleted few too, and I am wondering if we could work many sort of covering that you essential to canvass to get last... Equivalent: What is the abbreviation for CurlysWorldofFreeware that we use on this parcel? What turn of stars did "This job" (linked) get? (A bit harder to do I anticipate).

I think we should preserve this (and his other one) post, bots can be really funny at times. 8)

I banned two bots today and deleted 6 posts. Makes over 10 in total adding recent days iirc. Looks like the autumn spamfest has started.

The spambots have taken to copy-pasting text from existing posts. How clever. I deleted some.

Any chance of a "delete all posts by this bot while you're banning it anyway" function? I manually got rid of a spamfest earlier today and missed it.

No idea why phpBB does not have that function. Even the whole banning workflow is way too long.

Skull Candy - Skull Candy is the next brand for quality music. They are not as crisp as the Beats By Dre but they are better than the average retail headphones found in Beats By Dre stores. The great thing about these products is that they come in a variety of colors. They even have a model that looks like aviator sunglasses. How cool is that? They also have an iPod and iPhone speaker dock that she can make use of.

Sorry spambot, this thread is for summer spam, not winter spam!

This noon there was an islamic spambot, who wanted us to read the Koran (it opened three different threads with funny names for that). Things are really getting stranger...
