Speaking of submissions... I plan to submit 15-20 adventures in a row, since it's easier for me to submit games that I DEADLY want to submit first and then to start browsing other genres (there's no more GOOD freeware adventures I know of)... Id like to hear from The Squad if they accept it...

From the other side, if GH's are the most relaxed group... What allowance do I need? And what for? You need to work more, guys! I'll be submitting like mad!!!

Not my decision but if any game is accepted we would like to be able to link to the thread for that game from the download page so for that reason I think one thread/game is best.

I don't want to abandon game hunters, but I feel like the work of coding and design is most important for the site right now.

I PMed Chillum about the squad.
In fact, Ogre already contacted me He knows HTML & stuff, and I think we can perhaps use his skills later too
I just want to make it clear that my HTML knowlege is 95% theory...I have learned it and understand it, but haven't yet used it to do any serious programming (same goes for CSS). I am confident I can do anything that may be requested, but it might take a little longer than a more experienced person doing it.

Not all in one thread (actually it was me who added "one thread per game" rule ;) ), I just want to submit only adventure games til I run out of them... So Id like to know if The Squad will cope with it...

You mean will we be sick of playing point and click adventures by the time we finish testing them all? If gamehunters agree, if you tell us that you've finished the game then we will trust there are no bugs. We may or may not play the game all the way through but we will definitely play them. IMO it is okay to post them all in a row.

Then I will look into some actiongames. This way we get a load of two different genres. This will help alot I think. Also I think we need other members to concentrate on other genres... I will ask one in particular I am thinking of...

I just want to add, that I am going to enter a period of intense professional activity - so don't expect to submit 20 games a day for a fortnight and have them all reviewed before the summer vacations (not to say xmas)

Well this is not a requirement. Actually I think we need to find a limit of how many GH members that is needed to look through a game before it is accepted... Something like 3 or so. Then we can get more GH's and that way get the flow going..

I will start slowly adding some TBS & RTS games, maybe a few puzzlers, and anything with a space theme.
Also...if there is any genre that you particularly want and no-one is yet looking into, then give me a yell . :)

When I have read all the new posts since last visit, I'll add Ogre to the Squad...

And people, just submit as many games as you want ;)

but could somebody start adding the games confirmed as freeware (check the licenses and contact the author if you must) as requests in the gamehunters forum? I would do it but I am on dial-up at home and my work time is currently going to the coding group. Remember to add a link to the thread in the freeware games forum in your initial post!

Aye, I try to do it always, but I was extremely busy recently. I'll make a to-do list tonight and start sending mails to authors of not confirmed games. Sometimes I leave "needs checking" message, that doesnt mean I want others to do it for me, it's info for myself...

OK, dumb question, but am I officially a game hunter yet? I got a new laptop yesterday and I want to find games for it now. I think this would be a good way to kill two birds with one stone.

Nope, I don't. Could someone fix it so that I am an 'official' game hunter? I'll also PM Chroelle.

Are you also a game hunter? I didn't know that.. :? Not that I have something to say against it, but maybe I should read this thread through.. Then I'll add you to the GH usergroup.. ;)

EDIT: Who made that decision? And where? (The one about RWM added to the GH crew...)

Well, Chroelle asked me through PM and I said yes, and he even said something about it a few posts up.

Yes, maybe reading the posts would help. :P
