Guess the Console game

Post by Scythe »

All right, I've decided to split the game guessing thread into three (so far) platforms, to encourage more traffic. I believe we have three distinct camps, this one being consoles (NES, PS, DC etc.).

The rules of the game are simple: One user posts a screenshot, once somebody guesses what game it is from, and has that guess confirmed by the original poster, it becomes their turn to post a new screenshot. If somebody goes away for, say, a week, and doesn't respond to guesses, the first user to post a new screenie becomes the active poster.

Also, since this is the Nostalgia corner, games should at the very least be from the last millenium, preferably more than 10 years old.

This one begins with a famous Square game. Easy pickings.

well in most games you just press the button called "Print Screen" I think.. Diablo II is the only game that I know of, that differs.. Then it's F5..

Ogre is absolutely correct.

I think you'll have to fiddle a bit to manage screenshots. Most emulators have screenshot utilities actually. Otherwise, as Chiller suggests, you might be able to use "Print Screen" and paste into Paint or some similar utility.

I use a program called "Quick Screen Capture", but it's one that I bought.

Is it Chrono Trigger Ogre? That was my first impulse but thought it'd be too obvious.

Sorry for the delay with replying guys...I am working double shifts ATM (lots of other staff off due to illness).

None of the games mentioned so far are correct.

Another screen might make things a little easier...
