You ar absolutely right Pitkin-san :). Commando.
First level (area 01 on top), and you are right that this screen does not come from Commodore version. Although Commando and Commodore sound good together =)
I might have asked - where does come from, but I won't :D
It is from ZX Spectrum. You may guess from my signature.

Ok, so it is your turn again

Is "^_^" a smile, or a question?
If it is the question - then the only game I can think of is ADOM - and the screenshot presents an altar between two mountains :Nerd:

Ok, just kidding =).
I am sure I have played this game, remember this knight. Wasn't there an option to play 2 players game, then the other players knight has red tunic?
I must think hard...

Moonstone it is, eMTe-san. ^_^ More accurately, Moonstone: Hard Days Knight. Your turn. ;)

In Moonstone, you indeed could play a two-player game. Furthermore, you could also play with three or even four human players. The knights' colours were the aforementioned blue (starting his/her journey from the north-western fields) and red (south-eastern swamps), plus yellow (north-eastern highlands) and green (south-western woods). ^_^

Sorry for the colour codes, just had to do it; see, the Windows colours. :haha:

edit: But in wrong order... v_v

Ok, try to guess this. To make it harder Ive attached the introduction screen (hint: this is one of the most memorable introductory scenes in gaming history).

(sorry for constant promoting my favourite Amiga games :p )

Hmmm, the hut makes me think of Midwinter but the "famous introduction scene" and the lightning remind me of Day of the Tentacle... only thing is would eMTe have touted that as an AMIGA game?? Probably not...

Hmmmm.... I'm going to go for either Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis or UFO: Enemy Unknown... oh, or The Chaos Engine...

So right, that's about 5 guesses...

EDIT: Something in the back of my mind is saying "The Secret of Monkey Island" as well... arrgggh, eMTe, this is a good 'un.

If no one guesses before Friday/Saturday midnight I'll give first (and probably last) hint.

No one is even close so far. 8)

Hmm, the colours remind me of the beginning of "OnEscapee".
