Guess the game

Post by eMTe »

Rules? Yes, there are rules, very complicated I must admit. :wink: One person posts the screenshot and the first one who guesses right posts next screenshot. I tried to make them as simple as possible, so forgive me if I failed. :mrgreen:

Enough jokes, I start with this nice screenshot:

Heh - I was about to start such topic a few days ago - but on a different forum.
The same idea - screenshot and "Name the Game" question.

This is Civilization I.

I don't think there was a number on the first one ;) There weren't on my edition.. Although I agree.. This is Civilizations :)

Yes - there wasn't any number. I put it purposely, just in case someone will ask "which part"?
The full (and proper) title was: "Sid Meier's Civilization"

No. But quite close - I mean - the idea of the game is a bit similar (graphics too), but the producer, story and background - totally different.

Yes, you are right. Your turn eMTe.
Well - it wasn't hard for anybody who once played ZX Spectrum games. Since it was one of the most popular games back in 1984-85. Level of popularity similar to DOOM.

Which part? :mrgreen: Rick Dangerous 2.

Sorry, had to say that. ^^;

edit: Ah, the first part was a lot cooler, by the way... with the cool Indy look and such. :mrgreen:

Now that I'm at uni, I'll have to rely on a screenshot found online instead of snapping my own. ^^;

A wonderful game. And quite uncommon.

fadedmind-san, totally wrong. T_T; Why do you even think of True Love and me in the same sentence? (Super Ego: Must have something to do with--) *stifles his Super Ego*

Heimnar-san, absolutely correct. One of my all-time favourite games. Should PM4 ever have got released in Europe, I would've bought myself a PS2 just for that. ^_^

All yours now. :balloon:

Commando? A game with extraordinarily good music (even for C64 standards :mrgreen:) by Rob Hubbard-sama.

Who Dares Wins could be my another guess, but since I seem to remember this very scene in the first level of Commando, I'll stick to it.

So, Commando (the screenie's most probably from some other platform, though). I might be wrong, but hope not. ^^;
