No need to take a closer look at this one in my eyes. I tried before to get permission for two games of GameTop (Fish Tales, The Great Mahjong) and they didn't even answer the mails I wrote... :(

There were also rumours about Adware and Spyware coming along with the download at some point in the past. But I think that they changed it, as I double-checked the download files from their site and couldn't find anything.

JELLO CAR

Runs ok, except...I dont see a car. I see background, I hear music, I dont experience crashes. Car and road are absent.

ORBIT HOPPER

Orbit-Hopper is an up-to-date Skyroads-clone featuring OpenGL 3D graphics, enemies, new floors, highscores, new levels and much more. A level editor is included.

Thanks to SDL & OpenGL this project runs both on Windows and Linux. Source-Code is available, so you might even be able to get it to run on MacOS.

Vampire Blaze doesn't work for me either, but it's clearly because some of the file names came out garbled when extracting them (Japanese file names) because I was trying to use AppLocale rather than using Japanese unicode.

Maybe this might help (but as it is from the same blog, the link you posted goes to, probably not):

"The Japanese language pack has to be installed to play, and the game will only run on displays configured with 16-bit color quality instead of the standard 32-bit. When starting Vampire Blaze, select the second option in the dialogue box for windowed mode."

And Ive changed display and installed the pack of course. ;)

However, Spybot has found one potentially dangerous (for him) file during this installation and requested to delete it. Dont know if it could have affected installation process, but I know that I still dont see East Asian letters.

As for Mad Truckers, graphical bugs and browser takeover (another one of my hates). Looks fun though for the minute or so I can play it.

Sushi! Waxy's Sushi Party

Looks nice and game concept seems to be similar to "Ore No Ryomi". But I can't play it. I can start it and use the menu (without music or sounds), but when I try to start a game I just get the background graphics and the game hangs up.

Works fine for me. Simple fun for a while, though the math part of it is slightly offputting.

My "troublesome" list got too big to devote separate post for each game, so I'll just put them all with links and description of problems (if I remember them). Sorry.

Strangeways by DigiPen - most likely lack of proper hardware
Battle Beans by DigiPen - most likely lack of proper hardware
Tag by DigiPen - most likely lack of proper hardware
Glitch by DigiPen - most likely lack of proper hardware

Large Scale Vehicular Stealing is for the NES, so it is no wonder that it won't run on your PC. ;)

And played Classic Night some time ago. It's beautiful designed, but as a game it isn't that exciting at all.

Laser Bunny works fine for me...

Does anything from in here ever get submitted? Maybe we should try and submit these games instead, and simply fail them if noone can play them? Just a thought....
