Opening a WordX document

Post by Chroelle »

I dont really know what the issue is though I know that the one who sent me this document uses a MAC, but I told her to get ther boyfriend to help her before she send it.

I have received a document that is pure FUBAR and I cannot open it in Word, Notepad or anything without it being FUBAR.

Does anyone have any ideas. This is a big part of a theaterscript that we really need, and the writer took of on vacation yesterday and wont be home for 2 weeks, so we cant even get her to resend it in another format...

I really need some ideas...I really dont need to rewrite this. Not on my current schedule.

Maybe you can use this site to convert it to a format that you are able to open:

If the file extension is .docx, you need Office Compatibility Pack for older versions of Office, http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/ ... 31033.aspx

If that doesn't help you, I got the latest version (and a Mac), so send it to me and I'll convert it to something that will work.
