Well, I'm seeing a german "Test your IQ ad". Is that one of the German only ads?

Not really. I decided to look over the ads once more to see what we could get in.
Still let me know though if you see that beach-stud cartoon-ad.

Ok, I turned off my adblocker and looked into most of the threads in the German corner. So, the ads are only placed next to the Quick Reply Box? I've seen Eminem (win a PS3), Online-Poker, Arcor and Outdrink Santa Clause so far, right now there is an ad for refurbished computers...

Haven't seen your beach ladys though, and most of the threads still don't have an ad next to reply box... and they don't seem to reappear when you reenter a thread (says: 'Advertise on this site') Are the ads chosen randomly?

They should be yes. Are you saying that once you reneter a thread the ads are not showing anymore or are you saying that once you reenter a thread the SPECIFIC ad is not showing anymore?

I am wondering a bit why they do not show... They should...
That particular ad pays us 6$/1000 views... Most others pay us 0.15$....
But I will see if I can figure out even more about the ads...

Ok, I saw it ("Wicked Lasers") now for the first time somewhere in the marketplace...

Brilliant. It seems we are starting to make a little more money of the Adbrite thingy. I had to let some rather annoying ads get past the security, but I will kill them off as soon as we are making enough on decent commercials...
Thanks for reporting in guys.

Well I could drop by for a single beer. You never know when I have to drive fast to the hospital these days, so I have to stay sober :D

It seems it is just around the bend that I become a dad. :D

How is everyone doing?

MArch 21st is the date set. We do however have in mind that most first-timers go two weeks past the "deadline". But our midwife told us that she would consider starting the birth if Tanja went one week past. She thinks we have been through enough already, and dont think we should suffer the two week delay. Anyone else have kids in here?

No kids for the moment but the same girlfriend for almost 8 years and living together for almost 5 years now.

btw, who's that Anonymous stalker who has viewed this topic 5660 times? :lurk:

I actually have had some issues with my browser, where it seems to make a cyclic redundancy error or something when I open a thread up, because it will then start to open the thread 2 new times a second, which basically leaves me with ALOT of pages open... If I dont close the window at the exact right time I wont get to close it all together... It is very weird.
And well. March 21st is a very good day, as I have a huge family and we have lots of friends so actually we have 11 months stocked up on birthdays, except one month... Yep you guessed it. MARCH. So perfect timing.

Thanks. You can see how the baby's room is gonna look like if you look at the thread about me "finally doing something about it" or whatever it is I called it. It is in the marketplace. (Again - if you are interested...)

BTW, how many people frequent the German corner? I know of a few.

What happened to Knobissis, and Mariesa and others?
And what is the chance that we could lure them back in here?

And I also have a question specifically for you Germans. Could we some way advertise this site on German forums to get even more Germans in here?
And if you should mention one website that has thousands of Germans daily visiting that we could advertise on, please let me know.

Knobissis rarely drops by from time to time. We lost Kenobi and Insanus to a browsergame named Pardus, they don't even come anymore to OG. Mariesa has passed her a-level and Maturin and Shadowlord aren't coming anymore...I think we never had more members. ;)

We could place a link to CWF in our sigs in other forums, but it's sometimes not well seen..as for the website...try www.lustich.de It's a site that offers funny pics and videos and is highly visited.
