JNKPlat09

Post by jayenkai »

If you remember JNKPlat07, you might remember me mentioning JNKPlat09.

Inevitably, I started JNKPlat09, and would you believe, I started it this year!!!
This time it'll be pretty much the same game as the link above, but with a nice little graphical tweak.
If you'd like to, you can play the 2 little demo versions that I've released so far.
1. 11 level quick timed demo, or "Let's see if it at least runs on everyone's systems!"
and..
2. Jump Test, or "Larger single level playground, with two jumping controls enabled"

Other than that, this is, so far, pretty much the same game as last time.

Remember : It's more a Puzzle game than a Platformer!

Z to Hold, X to jump Left, C to jump Right, Cursors to run around.

(or switch to the other control system, whereby Z is hold, and either X or C is jump, but I'd recommend you get used to method one.. Method one will make the more complex levels a little easier!)

I'm currently in the middle of building this game up, so it should be done within a few weeks, depending on how quickly I can get all the interface done, and the levels and things!
I'll let you know!

I didn't know you were a member here.

I love platdude... so much so that the lego one you sent to Spinal last year (was it last year...might be longer) didn't stay his for long :p

Yup, I'll all over the place!
I used to visit more often, back when I did that Retro Raider game, but. I dunno. AGameAWeek doesn't really give you time for mucking around with forums!

Glad you liked your platdude ;)

Nope :(

Once this demo got put online, JNKPlat09 recieved nothing but complaints about it's two-button-jump.

I found it odd.
People didn't complain that much in 07, or the DS one in 08..
To complain at this point seemed silly.

The whole thing kinda got me down, and I didn't really bother to finish it off after that... Booooo!!!!

2010's finished ;)

Thanks. I looked through so many of your games today that I lost track of what was submitted. (I am validating a lot of your games these days- I need 2 more to do them, and I think I got that).

If you need more, I'm nearly up to my 200th ;)

(I can't believe I'm nearly up to 200! I really should start on that great-big 200 trailer, already!!)
