Here is the information about Medusa's Lair. This game is compatible with any version of Windows (95 - Vista). We have 21 freeware games of all genres and for most PC specs.

5. Description - Medusa's Lair is a 3D first person shooter (FPS) game. You have entered Medusa's Lair, a large, cavernous den crawling with Medusa's evil spawn. You must fight your way through this confusing and winding lair to destroy Medusa. There are three masks hidden throughout the lair that will give you extra lives. Each time you kill a spawn, be sure to take the energy left behind because you will need it! Use your arrow keys and mouse to move, your left mouse button to fire, and your right mouse button to jump.

could you include the actual screenshots to the introdution, not the link(s)...

It wasn't really my cup of tea. A bit on the repetitive side though there was lots of action. My triggerfinger was doing overtime at times.

Hmmm... this would be fun if it were full game with some decent story, length and more gameplay features. Unfortunately, this looks only like demo with only one type of enemies, one weapon and one level. Not that the game is bad, but it's too short and repetitive to be fun in long term period.

Mild criticism: you never know from which side youre being attacked, especially that Medusas respawn in random places. So I often found myself in situation when shooting ahead I had already second Medusa on my back and before I did something I losed a life. Some kind of hud/scanner showing medusas approaching would help.
