Mind's Eye

Post by ProgZmax »

Mind's Eye is an adventure game made by Shane Stevens (me).

Story: Your name is Noah...at least that's what they keep telling you. Locked away in a dank cell of an asylum, your past is the only key to your salvation -- if you can reclaim it. Can you unravel the mystery of your memory loss, and more importantly, will you like what you discover about yourself? Some memories may be best left forgotten.

I tried this game on for a while and actually ended up dying after playing for quite a while. This bugged me quite a bit because it took me long to get where I was at and I had not figured out how to save the game yet. Now I know. The interface is quite good when you know what it does and how it works. The little panel that opens up in the bottom has a light in either end. One end lets you save and load your game, the other lets you "sleep" (Quit). You need to think a bit outside the box on this one and that pulls it up, while the puzzles are somewhat easy in spite of this which pulls it down. Reminds me a bit of Prodigal, which pulls it up a good deal.
Story is grea so far, though from what I ahve read it should be even better if you get a good ending. :)

This game has a good story with conspiracy in it. The puzzles don't require too much guessing. At some point it depends on luck for you to get on, but you have unlimited tries. Generally, it's a good game.

We already have one of Steven's game on CWF. And I like it very much, except the puzzle side which is underdeveloped, but graphics, sound and dialogues are top-notch. So this game might be worth a try.
