Yes, but I think Chroelle wants to have the old version (which seems to run much better on some computers)...

Oh, I confused old and new version.

As for basher I think this is exactly how it was in Lemmings. You had to click 1 milisec before hitting the wall.

It might be. I don't remember that you had to time the basher action that exactly in the original game, but the human brain is quite capable to forget those minor flaws if the whole impression/experience was a great one. And it sure was, at least for me as "Lemmings" is still one of my favourite games...

Done! You can find the old version inside my folder.
eMTe wrote:How can I skip?

And if game autosaves, how will I be able to get back to previous levels? Where?
In the old version you can just click on "Choose Level" and and then play any level you want (look at the screenshot). But it seems that this is no longer possible in the new version... :(

Cant believe such feature got removed. Must be some bug. Program creates player.file called so or different, so I guess progress data must be stored there. There's nothing more to be stored.

Gonna ask Geoff via forums... I hope I'm not banned. :)

Lemmings always was the perfect timekiller, and with this remake it easily becoming my favourite timekiller once more. (Like I have time to kill).
The only problem is that the Memory Access Violation is still everpresent and always awaiting the worst possible moment to enter the stage.
It did so once more for me, and that really took it down a notch for me.

Without sound, in an ugly window and with even more bugs. I'm not amazed...:(

Edit: I don't think it is the game made by Geoffrey Storey. It looks quite different and it seems it was made by somone called Crisp.

It is very faithful to the original Lemmings.
It runs fluently on modern computers (except for the few bugs)
Even though the early version doesn't have the levels as unlockables but have all available from start, there is still a sort of progress in that it remembers what level you played last.
There was some bugs where i got memory access violation when lemmings fell out of the screen. But it's only things that you aren't supposed to do that makes the game crash AFAIK.

Cool, I never thought that a new version would come after such a long time. :thanks:

Now I hope that the "Memory Access Violation" is gone...

Short Feedback: I've played the first 33 levels (30 easy/3 tricky) and so far not a single serious bug has occured. Two or three times there was a short slowdown when I nuked all lemmings at once, but that was probably a problem of my old computer and not of the game. No "Memory Access Violation" and I really tried hard as I let lemmings drop out of the screen on purpose or let them build bridges into nowhere.

Maybe someone else can try this version as well, but to me it seems it is now the perfect remake every "Lemmings" fan always dreamed of.

Thank you, Geoff!!! :notworthy:

Hi its been a long time. lemmins has been extensively updated, update now includes a level editor. lots of new tilesets to play with. ;)

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B63pD ... DR4LW5nYzA

You can edit the gameprefs.ini file, so the game shows all the levels.

1 ; Intromusic on/off (default on 1 / off 0)
1 ; In game music on/off (default on 1 / off 0)
1 ; Lemmin job select button animated outline box on/off (default on 1 / off 0)
0 ; vfx on/off (default off 0 / on 1)
0 ; show all levels from choose level (default off 0 / on 1)
