I wonder, when both media moguls and common folk will finally agree that those nihilists (not Muslims) commit crimes BECAUSE they are in the limelight, not the other way around.
I think rightists ot the world united, inconsciously, want these crimes to being committed, because they give them the scapegoat - islam.
I'd risk the thesis, that, having the knowledge we have now, they are at least partially - but soon fully - responsible for these crimes as much as radical islamists are. Both parties live in mutualist relationship.
Victims? Centrist, uninterested, unaware people, like it's always been. People from UK should know this mechanism from The Troubles.
And no, I am not levelling terrorists with people with rightist political views, just giving the latter partial responsibility. Once you start abusing universal quantification, you reap what you sow, sooner or later.
