Would you use this site for downloads of games ....

Here you can talk about anything (that isn't related to the other forums).

Would you use this site for downloads of games ....

Post by Chroelle »

Well. We are currently working on getting this forum up and running. We are thinking that this forum will support a homepage about Freeware games. The site is going to be interactive, and the members have a say in which games stays and which goes. Also you can (when done) upload games to the site.

We will be working towards getting a creditsystem (like OG) but it has to wait a little while. I need a friends help with this and he can't do it at them moment (exams).

The reason for me asking this is of course the same considerations that have been lurking for some on OG. Is it worth paying a little money on getting this site bigger, or would that just be adding to the big fat red letters on the total line...?

So let me know if you would use it.
Remember this site is in the upstarting fase, and therefor you can have a lot of say on how it develops. And crew-positions are still open. And maybe you would like a subforum created that you could moderate???
There is a lot that speaks for survival and use :D

Yes. Sabrina knows who I am. I asked her to go here, and she is also the bartender form the english bar in the danish corner on OG.

So Hi Sabrina. Glad to see you dropped by.

Feels like home... Dizi, Sabrina, flying knives...

Total surprise this site, I wish you luck Chrolle and I'll post some of my considerations later, I'm a bit confused atm (how good to be a newbie :P), but I'll make my way around slowly... ;)

I gotta admit I like this mess, one can feel that something (and maybe big) happens...

Well I contacted some members in PM's (Didn't mean to leave anybody out) hoping that this would feel like home.

Sounds good about the whole considerations part. I don't know if people remember back when....I was the one to suggest a suggestions forum on OG, and I still feel that one such is essential, so let us know. Granted there are big limitations to what we can do, but we are eager to learn, and will propably ask people for help on certain matters...

But welcome everybody. It's great to see that people are engaging already.

And Yes it feels great to be a newbie again. Even though I am one of the two admins, I still feel like a newbie. Please notice that there is no numbers in the thousands under my avatar :D

No I don't want this to became a gaming site for several reasons

1- It attracts spammers (and I am utterly fed up to put up with those inferior beings who never stick to the rules and most of the times never will)

2- It costs a lot to maintain a large database and a lot of bandwith to make the downoads work allright

3- We all know a lot of game downloading sites and can make a working index of it

4- I prefer this to be a chatty forum site where I can chase girls and beat upthose who oppose me to try and become Supreme Dictator

5- I am purist of sorts and don't want contamination to happen on such a early stage

6- I am going to be really angry if you don't heed my advice ^_^

7- If I remeber anything else I'll let you know :D     :D
