well - if none of you wanna reveal the secret I will - 1 minute and 20 seconds = 80 seconds :P

so Peter Rabbit runs takes the same time to run all three legs

Can you work out the answer to this?

As I was going to St Ives, I met a man with seven wives.
The seven wives have seven children.
The seven children have seven dogs.
The seven dogs have seven cats.
The seven cats have seven mice.
How many were going to St Ives?

Yes but would they be allowed on the train with all the animals?

You are lost in a forest between two villages. Lets call them village A and village B. You need to reach village B. You meet someone but don't know which village he is from. But you know that people from village A always lie and the people from village B always tell the truth. You can only ask one question. How will you find out in which direction village B is?

Eight identical looking marbles, but one is slightly heavier then the rest. There is no way to tell by looking. A set of balance scales that will only work twice. With only two weighs, can you identify the heavier marble?

First measurement:
Place 3 marbles on each side of the balance scales (6 total)
* If equal, then the heavy marble (H) will be one of the 2 that were not weighed...use the second measurement to find out which one.

* If unbalanced then you have narrowed H down to be one of 3 marbles...Pick any 2 of these and use second measurement to compare.
If equal then the one you didn't pick is H
If unequal, the heavier one is H.

alright - we need a new riddle so here's one:

I am eight letters long - "12345678"
1234 is an atmospheric condition.
34567 supports a plant.
4567 is to appropriate.
45 is a friendly thank-you.
678 is a name.

What word am I?

Guybrush, you are mistaken. The hint doesn't help. A cryptic clue to the rest of you.

How wrong you are Guybrush. The hint was never too subtle... Now it might seem subtle, but My Instant Sense Towards Agreeing Kindly Exited Now. I don't think the hint was too subtle.

for those who did not yet figure out - the answer is of course 'mistaken'

which I pointed out having the word 'mistake' in my hint, and mistergreen emphatised by having the actual answer implemented in his post - Chroelle chose to make yet another less obvious hint of creating the word using the fist letters - making it slightly more obvious having those letters in capital - now we have the next one which is a kind of riddle:

a young man and his father were wandering in the mountains when an accident occoured - some rocks fell down - one hit the father in the head and killed him instantly - a few others hit the son injuring him heavily - some other wanderes witnessed the accident and found a way of bringing him to the local hospital where an elderly surgeon was making ready to perform surgery - the young man was brought in before the elderly surgeon, who then said - I cannot operate this man - he's my son ....

now how is that possible ??

Ok. Here i go :D
Einsteins puzzle.
There are 5 houses in 5 different colours. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. Using the clues below can you determine who owns the fish?

The Brit lives in a red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is on the immediate left of the white house.
The green house owner drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the house right in the middle drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blend lives next door to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next door to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water.

Could it be the German in house #4 who owns the fish?

#1 - Yellow, Norwegian, Water, Dunhill, Cats
#2 - Blue, Dane, Tea, Blend, Horses
#3 - Red, Brit, Milk, Pall Mall, Birds
#4 - Green, German, Coffee, Prince, Fish
#5 - White, Swede, Beer, Blue Master, Dogs

I've never been able to solve this kind of puzzles, making some stupid mistakes, so I'm not too optimistic. :(

For that sort of puzzle the best thing to do is make up a grid, it is basically a logic problem and as such can be solved using one. At the moment I am feeling too lazy to do it but it should not take any longer than 20 minutes to solve if you do it the right way :D :D
But then I have been addicted to that sort of puzzle for ages. :D :D
