Well, in the "2 + 2 = 5" one, the guy is very religious and is kneeling before the plus sign, thinking it's a crucifix.

As for the other one, I have no idea. "In Vitro comes?" I don't get it. :?

I didnt get that he was kneeling, so that explains why I didnt get it... :)
I am guessing there is a word play with the word Invitro?

I hate explaining jokes (after all the theory of laugh teaches us that something is funny because you get surprised by the contradiction between what is depicted in the joke, verbal or visual, and how it is presented, so by explaining the joke you ruin the joke :D ).

In the second pic the kid who was born via in vitro method appears and the other kids, most likely from the same school or class who know "the truth" about him get angry and prepare to throw snowballs at him, because he is "different". Raczkowski isnt a typical cartoonist like Jim Davis or Scott Adams or even South Park creators, his drawings are often sad rather than funny and deal with serious issues. It's just the different kind of satire.

The joke in the latter is that the kids make fun of the "odd" kid even though the difference is totally meaningless and not visible (being conceived in vitro). I think the joke in the earlier is that the person doesn't care about the statement being obviously false but prays at the cross, making a joke of belief over logic.

edit: I always forget to check if when looking at new posts, there are additional pages. I only saw Chroelle's question and not that everyone and their dogs had already answered. Oh well.

Here's something on the more abstract and thus lighter note.

Barrel? Like in barrels? But yes that is much lighter, and I got that one right away? :D (No help needed this time around.)

And ZYX -I do the same thing so if you suddenly see a post from me that doesn't make sense then please look to the earlier page and see if perhaps it is an answer to the last post on that page. :)

This isn't from Marek Raczkowski, but this comic reminded me of this thread. :)

I am looking ferociously for more "lighter" cartoons to translate, but they are not that easy to find. 8)

Maybe this one?
