Yes, and to make the language collection more complete, in Germany they are called "Johann & Pfiffikus".

In Icelandic, they're "Hinrik og Hagbarður".

Here goes one I read a couple of times when I was a kid. I always thought it was Danish, but it seems it was actually from the states, but just easily transferable to Danish conditions. I stumbled on to a great site to find yesteryears comics, so expect more from me if I get the turn back before I forget the place. :)

IT would indeed! In Danish known as Flipkompagniet. And yes, that translates to The Flip Company. :)

In more recent years, this is a comic book that I enjoyed... for many reasons...

I don't know, but it looks a little like the artwork of Ben Dunn. Maybe an early volume of "Ninja High School"?

Yeah, I don't think I can hint this without giving it away, so let me just go with something else. You should know this one.

This is "Inspector Canardo" by Sokal. I also found out that the other one was "Empowered", but I used Google to find it and so I felt it was like cheating.

The art style definitely looks like something I've seen before, but the content seems political... not touching that...

Not really political. It's the autobiographical story of a young gay's coming out during the time of segregation in the USA.

Which one of them is he? The cop, the bully or the wuss that shouts out?
It seems way to serious for my taste as well. Any hints?

Neither of them. I fear the main character isn't in the picture. And I think I can't give any hints, so I will solve. It's "Stuck Rubber Baby", one of the most influential graphic novels of the 90s. Either you know this comic or you don't. The author Howard Cruse didn't make much stuff except for this one.

And it isn't as serious as it seems. Give it a try if you can find it in a library. Interesting thing is that there are no heroes in the story. People just act the way they do, because they have to get through in a very confusing time, not because they are good or evil.

Ok, free round!

I wa actually very sure that you read it. :)
It isnt oriental in any way as to style or author, but it has some filosphical stuff going on that could be very eastern.:)
The name of the comic is the name of the lead character. I can possible find a better pic if needed. :)
