I am happy, because I have run (circa) 12 kms and I feel good. Nothing's better before a mountain trip, but sad fact is - when you face a 1-1,5 km elevations (having in mind the whole trip) your running usually seems to be futile. But it works on the psychological level. ;)

Regarding general things - I am happy, because I bought a ticket for September concerts of Sigur Ros and Kronos Quartet.

Regarding aforementioned trips...

I'm happy, because a friend of mine and me finally built my new computer: AMD FX-8120 processor (3.1 Ghz), 8 Ghz Ram, 1 GB XFX Radeon graphics card, 2 TB HDD. Much, much better than my old one!

I am happy because my youngest son (2 and a half days now) got rid of the breathing machine (respirator?). He was a bit of a hasty fellow, decided to get out almost two months too early... So lungs aren't fully developed yet - thus a bit of a rough start. But it's amazing how something that seems so fragile can be so unbelievable though. =)

Wow! Glad to hear he's doing better, Maz! :) I can only imagine how scary an experience that must be to go through! :|

As for me, I just got my internet connection back up after a virus took my computer out of commission for a week, so that's my reason to be happy. :D

Maz...how the... a newborn son.... how did I miss that you were even expecting one...!!!

CONGRATS ON HIM, and on getting him off the machine! I can only imagine...no I CANNOT imagine what that must have been like! I just know that I am sure it was one of the hardest things you have ever gone through.

Again, it is that time of the year when green and blue live together in perfect harmony.

I loved looking at pictures (or even better sceneries) like that when I was a kid, because I was trying to find out where a road that disappeared behind a hill would appear again. Wondering if the road in the middle right is ending up connecting to the road in the middle left...

The graphics card I've been anxiously waiting for finally was in stock. I think I managed to grab one of the few still in stock from the web store, which makes me happy.

If I didn't manage, then... not happy.

I'm happy because I finally got my spanking new Nvidia GTX 670 on Friday. The only downside is that I really should work on my academic paper instead.

I'm very happy today - today is Maria's birthday. She's 35 as of today.

Happy today because Maria and I are at camp with Skoda, who has become a bit of a celebrity around here! Up here until at least Sunday. So peaceful and quiet. Plus it is very nice hear weather-wise. About 75 degrees Fahrenheit, low humidity, with a slight breeze. Back in Illinois is is very hot and very humid, and generally uncomfortable from what I hear.

It's a bit of surprise that it's Netherlands, but also the proof that things are not that wrong as they sometimes seem.

Yes, I am happy.

Not enough information there to tell whether this is victory or oppression.
