+ some silly music + Socoder (entirely hand coded, don'cha know!!) + 125 episodes of a silly daily online sitcom I did for a while, back in 2000'ish + loads of forgotten stuff randomly thrown around the internet!

Ooh, and I recently started a weekly newsletter for Socoder, too.
I say recently, but it's up to issue 44 already, so it can't have been that recent! .. Blimey, no wonder I got old so quick!!

(I really oughta make a music archive! I've got way more than that!)

Yeah, I've not done so bad...
Just that when you say that to the family, they all look at you funny ;)

I can relate. :)
I recommend getting kids getting married and running a marathon*. Now all you have to do is figure out what to do for the rest of the week. :)

*= Haven't run a marathon yet myself, but I am getting closer.

Yep, it seems to work fine. But I think I need some time to get used to it...

But thank you, Zyx! Take a beer on my tab.

Mr Gripe Sez...
It's a little more "Pro" looking, and less "Fun and games"
I've never been a fan of bog-standard looking sites, to be honest.

But at least I can find the login button on the frontpage, now ;)

Pulling out the Dom Perignon! Good work Zyx. Some stuff mentioned elsewhere and other than that I have absolutely no grievances!
Cheers mate!

Hi everyone.

Today I decided I would try to remove one of my many small annoyances, where little things keeps reminding me that they annoy me, and I never get around to doing anything about them...
This one is about eMTe.... (eMTe is propably saying...HUH... right about now...)

Some years ago I asked you why your name was so specifically spelled with small e's and capital MT = eMTe, instead of Emte.
Now I decided to ask you again, because your answer back then was something about telling me soon.... That was years ago!!! Propably around 2006-07.

So do share. Everyone gather around - I am opening up a tab for this story. It better be good.
Do me a favor though - If it is just something like "I thought it looked cool - the end" then please make up something better. After all I ahve been waiting for this one for 4 years or so.

Huh... Right about now... When 4 years passes since I joined CWF...

I thought Id explained it already but maybe not. 8) It comes from first letters of my name and surname, as simply as that. Maciek Trybuszewski. "Em" and "te" is how you pronounce "M" and "T" in Polish when you name the letters. There's plenty of emtes in Polish forums and web in general and pretty much many emtes in the world also. Ive never had any school nicknames, so when I started using internet many years ago and it became obvious I need some nickname for online profiles I chose what came to my mind first. Thus eMTe has been born. Probably the greatest eMTe in abandonware/freeware world.

Or maybe impulse came from space...

...and then he lived happily ever after. :)

Ok, it was exactly as simple as I feared.... But thanks for sharing.

Once upon a time there was a member called Pater Alf...(why?)

When I was a child, it happened that the series "The Thorn Birds" and "Alf" were at German TV about the same time. As my name is Ralf, one of my classmates called me Pater (Father) Ralf and another one called me Alf for a short time. Both of them didn't stay as nicknames (thanks god), but at that time I thought it would be a good idea to mix both names together and use them for computer games. And voilà... Pater Alf was born!

And I still think it was a good idea. Haven't found any other Pater Alf around the web so far... :)

Who are you calling forgetful... and who are you?

I am pretty sure I haven't heard it before, so it might have been on OG or something.

Pater Alf, now I will always think of you as a 4 foot high hairy melmacian Richard Chamberlain. :) There is a mental image for everyone...

Changing topic for a while... Chuck Norris is...70 today! Hard to believe for somebody who created the universe by roundhouse-kicking nothingness in the face.

Happy Birthday Chuck! Kindly let our forum and site stay and let us have a good time here!
