I think there is a lot of praise due for Zyx on this work! Good job buddy!
Maybe we should have a relauch party. Is there a way we can send out mails to everyone who ever signed up here? If we can get that then I will write a newsletter/invite for them to stop by and see what has happened!

Cheers everyone - I am bringing out the good stuff from the chapagne cooler!

Amazing job on the new layout for the site Zyx! Very impressive. Very nice indeed.

Things have been a little hectic here lately, so I haven't been on the site in a while...my wife and I moved into our house about a month ago, it is about 80 years old, and the guy that lived here before smoked about 4 packs of cigarettes a day for 15 years. So the whole place is coated in layers of nicotine. Plus he never cleaned, so it stinks...and his home improvements would be better classified as patching a bleeding sore with a dirty band-aid. So it has been a little busy. Not only that, but I also moved about 75 kms away, so it is a bit of a commute to get to work in the morning. In the end, it should be a whole lot better situation...plus there are a lot of software development companies in this new town that I could possibly look into.

So...in short, I should be back to looking at more games into the new year. Right now though it is kinda freakin' crazy and will be done whenever I have some free time...

Go find the job in game development business, youll combine work with pleasure. 8)

I finally got ill. Only for a couple of days and with minimal symptoms, unusually for me, but I took two days break just in case. Magical potion from tea, lemon and honey does miracles. :P

I've been busy with alot of different stuff these past days, but alot of them have been things I really loved being busy with - the daughter took up a lot of time, and doing some necessary webdesign work, learning new tricks in the process, and today I took an allday course in using web 2.0 the best ways possible, so expect some things to show up, now that Zyx opened up Pandoras box using the words Web 2.0. :)
Fun thing about the course was that just as we started, the program-connection that 150 courseparticipants was there to work with, broke down, and the breakdown had internet guys running around the place for an hour looking rather stressed, while the rest of us had some really nerdy chats about our work, and our ambitions with it. Cool day!

I think we all miss birthdays and stuff. The Square and Inn are a little sleepy recently.

It's -13 in here. Or more. Hell (?) of a weather. I walk through the streets without cap, scarf and gloves, in summer shoes and socks. It gets a bit cold at times, but that's what I usually do after getting cold previously - natural cryotherapy. :D Ive noticed strange thing that if I'm ill once at the beginning of the winter I can't get ill for the second time. I become sort of immune from little nasties.

We had a couple days below zero (Faherenheit) here. Could barely move, the way it affected my back condition.

Then of course, I needed to get to my shop, and the bus was 20 minutes late. Felt bad for passengers that missed their downtown connections and were stuck for the next half hour or more.

At least it is 29 degrees F out now, but it is very icy. Haven't managed to slip yet, but came close twice already.

What would be 29 F in C?

Now the weather here is going to change 180 degrees and there will be a couple of warmer days. What means twice a road accidents most likely. Frozen snow + sudden warmth = deadly mud. Yuck.

Minus 2 degrees Celsius.

We have temperatures around zero Celsius (32F) during days now and around minus 5 during nights (23F). A couple of days ago it was minus 19C (-2F) somewhere in the backcountry of Denmark. Brrrrrrr.....

I'm sad that all the snow is gone. It was bitter cold, but the whole city looked so beautiful. I really thought there might be a white christmas (the first one for about ten years)... :(

:birthday: Pitkin - wherever you are!

Time is coming back to me, and it seems clear that X-mastime once again has emptied the forum, and await everyones return. :)

I am going to start playing some games again now, and I hope that 2010 will bring us even more dedicated members and maybe even some ready to do some work in here. :)

Pitkin is lurking probably. Who knows, maybe he'll even reply to the wishes. :P

There's no snow, only mixture of snow and rain which probably has its name in English falls from time to time; everything is grey, brown, wet, ugly and depressing.

My wish for 2010 is that developers stop making funny profits from their games and return to truly independent world of freeware which may not bring them extra bucks for pizza and beers, but allows for more creative freedom. Forget "indie" careers, go back to the roots.

...and that Firefox wont delete my bookmarks to freeware games during reinstall anymore. :P

Where's everyone? HAPPY EVERYTHING and ALSO NEW YEAR!
