Funny that dad and I were at a scouting event yesterday at a church, and elsewhere in the church, a wedding was going on. Dad and I made a lot of marriage jokes.

How is a Marriage like a three ring circus?
Engagement Ring, Wedding Ring, SuffeRING!

How is a wedding like a funeral?
One is the end, the other is the beginning of the end!

And it went on like this, me, dad, and other scout leaders joking about marriage.

Thanks Scythe. Yes I got married, and Tanja looked so amazing that I almost had to let a tear loose at the altar. We had a great ceremony, and the party was maybe the best party in world history. We got lots of great presents, though we haven't been opening all of them yet - it's just so many....
Unfortunately we had two bad situations during the wedding. First of all the beer kegs wouldn't work, which caused mild panic, though I told everyone we had lots of other booze and beer, so no worries - it took over an hour to get peopel to stop concentrating on getting the damn thing to work...
Next my sister got called up by the babysitter who told her that their kid wasn't breathing and she called an ambulance so my sister went flying out the door leaving everyone really concerned understandably, but we got a call 20 minutes later saying that everything was alright, and we didn't have to worry. He had a cough attack that closed up his throat for like 15 seconds or so, and the paramedics were there in less than 2 minutes. So we actually went from extremely worried to partying twice as hard in seconds after we got that message.
Everything was great and there were so many speeches and happenings that I totally forgot to drink, so when we closed up the party at 4.30 this morning I was still sober, but I had the best time!!!

Beer kegs not working...? Wine corks always work... Cough. *COUGH.*

As for attack i had such once. I was ???-teen and I woke up in the middle of the night (I suffered from mild cold then) with serious cough and couldnt catch the breath, run quickly to my parents room and saw their awoken faces turning green when I was standing in front of them coughing, choking and showing with hands that I suffocate. After 15 seconds the attack was gone and never repeated. Nothing to worry I believe, it was an isolated incident.

As for weddings I have pretty good experience as a guest and none as a host. I hate weddings to be honest as I hate any celebrations with prescribed sequences, but it has nothing to do with others' happiness, I can enjoy it. 8)

So the best wishes. ;)

Thanks everyone. Yes we are going on a sort of honeymoon. We have decided to spend the night at a hotel in Malmö in Sweden from this saturday to this sunday, simply to get some time to ourselves...
We have however gotten a generous moneygift for spending on a honeymoon with Anna, so that might be something we are looking into this summer... Otherwise we will postpone it until next year.

Well, I know I promised C a few pictures of my entire railroad (Or as much of it was would fit in one picture), but my camera spend a week lost, then I find it and now I have left it at my store accidentally. Grrrrr...

Oh well, all the better the pic will be when I do snap the shot- I have made a lot of progress on my railroad tonight- a lot of little things have been done.

Station platforms have been placed in the passenger terminal, streetlights have been mounted to the sidewalk, with wires leading underneath to under the tabletop, where I can connect and light the things.

Bus stops have been built with benches, the dirt has been cleaned off the railheads- the grimy dirt inhibits electrical contact with the wheels in locomotives, especially brass wheel vintage equipment.

A new drawbar has been put on a 1947 steam locomotive, that permanently connects the engine and tender. Now I need to make a long one for a 1939 steamer I got.

Busy day!

Ok...Since last lots have happened.

Anna got sick again and had painfull blisters in all of her mouth. She didn't eat for 3-4 days and after that only ate icecream, until the blisters went away after a week or so. We conctacted the doctors again and they told us that they needed to do some tests on her again, and were very interested in hearing her sickstory once more, going over all facts. Our own doctor had a suspicion of leuchemia, which you can imagine brought us down, until the specialist shot that down, and actually was a bit annoyed with our doctor for suggesting this to us without having more to go on.
They then gave us a recommendation to get Anna out of the kindergarten she is in now, and into a daycare mommy, which is somebody who takes care of 3-4 kids at a time. This would result in less bacteria around Anna, as the blisters in her mouth suggests something is wrong with her immune defense system. This is now taken care of, and this means more peace of mind for me and the family.

Oh - and I got a flatscreen TV and a Wii. :)

Flatscreen TV and Wii. Sounds like you won't spent your freetime in here during the next few weeks... :scared:

About Anna: Good to hear thet the doctor could exclude the worst case scenario (which was probably leuchemia). Hope they find the cause for her many sicknesses soon, so you can all get some rest and peace.

The cool thing about the Wii is that it wont steal time from CWF as it takes place whenever the PC is occupied by Tanja. I will only use it sometimes when me and Tanja is having some fun together by the TV, so it actually replaces my TV-time and not my CWF-time. Its actually pretty cool, and Tanja and I have been having some evenings filled with fun and laughs instead of simply crashing on the couch. I can recommend it to everyone. I am however thinking about getting a game that needs some more time and in-depth gameplay, where you can build up a game over time. Any suggestions?
