You know those weekends where you're think you'll be getting all sorts of stuff done, but you end up working and working and working, and then just sleeping and staring blankly into space those few minutes you're not working? I just had one of those.

Worst weekend so far this year. Gotta have me some fun soon!

Join the club, Scythe. I thoguht, with the way the weather has been here, that business would be slow. Not so. I've had plenty to do. Got a few machines repaired, and one should be sold tomorrow too.

I was hoping to get some old 1940s coach car models working today. Didn't happen. Plus I feel slightly 'out of it' right now, from stress and the weather in general.

Will do.
I really have to share with you why I am stressed out currently.
We are making a theaterplay with the kids at my work. I have two groups of kids where one has to do black theatre (Dark room, UV-light and white flourescent t-shirts got the point...)
About 2½ months ago I put in an order for Theaterlights and a UV-lightsystem, by the official "government"-place. They are currently moving their business from one building to another so the office and desk is closed for the next two weeks. Today everyone else got their orders, including all of the theaterlights, while my UV-lightsystem is not present.
The idea of black theater was not mine, but being stressed out already, and after people changing the date without letting me know I was so sick of this that I would take any idea and this one sounded easy. Of course I got the group of kids that was a bit hard to teach and that means that whatever I got out of them was good, and people were impressed with what I got out of them in practice today, except one. She went over to me and asked me if I knew nothing of black theater as she wanted alot more moves etc from the kids (trust me I know moves, I have been a hiphopinstructor earlier so that is not the problem). She was the one who said I should do black theater to begin with, and now here she is complaining about how I did it....
She had told me that it would be no problem getting fabri to do costumes with optical white in it (sine you need that to get the effect) but when I started searching nobody had it, mainly because it is very bad for the environment and so everyone tries to remove it from their fabrics... So here I am with some fabric that I dont know wether will glow in the dark, no UV-light and noone has one for rent, no time to do all this, and absolutely no desire to do theater, and yet I am spending the evening making costumes for this theater, and I was up at 4.45 this morning/night because Anna is sick and coughing so she wakes up at all wrong hours and she is so sad it tears my heart out, so ask me if I have patience for some self-appointed theater-queen trying to tell me what to do...?

PHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!
That was nice to get off my chest, now... Anyone up for a beer and an energizer of soem sorts? (I wont rant anymore I promise)

Hi dee Ho.

I have a strange feeling.
It is propably a sum of many factors.
1. Too much caffeine (2 energy drinks and 8 cups of coffee since 6PM yesterday).
2. Lack of sleep.
3. Aching tooth.
4. Slight emotional imbalance.

The newborn (Jasper) has had some symptoms of flu in last few days. And yesterday he was a bit sleepier than usually and didn't eat too well. Also the breathing was more shallow (due to the flu), and occasionally breathing seemed to be a bit difficult.

So at the evening I decided to visit doctor, so they could take some of the mucus away. I explained the symptoms, and they ran some virus tests to clear the situation. And of course they found out he had RS-virus. RS-virus which is not really harmfull for older kiddos/adults, may be dangerous for babies due to the breathing difficulties it may cause. It is also unpredictable. So they decided to took Jasper into the hospital, just in case the situation gets worse. On top of that the hospital was so full, that they could not offer me a possibility to stay with him... So at 02.AM I was drowing back home alone. (Milla and Joona were at home).

It is strange to leave your own baby in hospital all alone. It does not feel good. Especially knowing that the hospital is full of ill people, and nurses cannot really be in many places at same time... So I have a feeling Jasper will be spending quite a lot time all alone, feeling insecure and ill... And yet I need to pretend I believe he's allright, and not alone at all in order to comfort Milla...

So...

...

mmm. This all just makes a strange feeling.

I cant tell you how sorry I am to hear that Maz. I have a lump in my throat after reading it. Damn it, that must be harder than hard. I have a hard time just leaving Anna to go to work, but she is still with Tanja. I cant imagine the feeling you are having after leaving Jasper in the hospital.
My thoughts are truelly with you.
Any absense will of course be more than okay - it is almost required of you.
Let us know when things look up.

I heard of RS-virus before but mostly regarding adults. I just did some updating regarding what it does to infants. Send my best to Jasper (I know I will) and I understand the situation about having to be strong for Milla. I remember going through that with Tanja too, and still have to do so from time to time.
I am on ICQ if you need to talk!

Sorry to hear about Jasper, Maz! :(

Hope he's getting better very soon. Can't imagine how hard it must be to leave your baby alone in the hospital.

But if you really think they don't care well for him or he is in fear, you can still do what a friend of mine did: Her baby (must have been Jaspers age) had to stay in the hospital and was crying in fear (because of the situation and because the nurses acted quite rude) when the nurses told her she had to leave, because there was no bed for her to stay. But she simply refused, sat down and said she won't go away. Took her a long discusion, but after two hours they brought her a comfortable chair and some blankets for the night and agreed she could stay...

Hi dee Ho!

Thanks for wishes mates :) And it is not that I didn't trust the nurses, or that the nurses were rude. It's just that they're busy because the hospital is full of ill children...

I am however getting a lil bit sick of hospitals and doctors.

Yesterday, after work I drove to hospital to see how Jasper is doing. Milla had gone there at morning, and had spent the day there. Joona (my older son) was looked after by Milla's mom. We spent two hours at hospital together, and Jasper was actually feeling a little better - although he was still quite sleepy. Doctors told us that if he does not get worse, we can propably get him back home today. After that we drove to Milla's mum to pick up Joona...

...Joona has of course been in a flu too. When we came to pick him up, he just wanted to sit on my or Milla's lap crying. At that point I guessed what was going on... So we drove back to the hospital, and waited for 3 hours to see a doc so he could examine Joona's ears. 3 hours waiting there with a kiddo who had aching ear was not too funny. Well, finally we got to see a doc, and ear infection it was. At 11 PM we finally got back to home with Joona, we put him to sleeping and I falled in bed for few hours.

I am not feeling terribly well myself today. I wonder if I should go to doctor... ....Hell No!

Well, I do not usually like to visit doctors myself - at least not when I am still able to walk properly. Actually, last time when I went into doctor voluntarily, was when I was still at army. Or at least I think I did it voluntarily. I do not remember too much about it. Funny how dizzy memories one get's, when he has 40 C fever and heart muscle's infection :D

I thought I would have lots of time to do some work for the site today, but as always real life got in the way. But (seldom enough) this time it was in a positive way. Met some friends in the afternoon, drank some coffee with them, time passed without even noticing. Then they asked me to come with them to a jazz concert in the evening where we met with some more friends (I haven't seen some of them for months).

So after all it was a great day without any time for computer games. :)

Will see if I get some things done tomorrow...

But now I drink a final beer, before I go to bed.

Well, I finally got internet up and running in my new place, and am somewhat unpacked. My g/f Sarah is still yet to unpack all of her things, so we still have boxes laying around.

She got kinda ticked when I unpacked my stack of MAXIM magazines, and she made my life hell to the point where I just bundled them all up and took them to the recycle bin. in fact a lot of my stuff ended up there...Afterwards it was all, "well, you didn't have to throw them out..." YARGGG!!

So I had a guy from the cable company come in and install my cable t.v. package, and he tried to tell me that I needed a technician to come in and install my internet instead of letting me do it myself. So then before leaving he installed a capped splitter that actually stopped me from connecting my internet. But I sort of worked around that.

Now I just need to change all of my addresses and I'm good to go. I hope to never ever move for a very long time after this.

Your girlfriend could learn some things from mine. Mine is cool with all of my guy-stuff. Heck she even knows about my porn and where I keep it. She just feel secure enough that I wont run away with a tape of porn instead of staying with her I guess
Porn is part of being a guy, and girls shouldn't complain. just as well as we guys shouldn't complain when our girlfriends goes dreamily on and on about Brad Pitt or whoever. I mean really....what are the chances of your girl running off with Brad Pitt? Feeling jealous.... I would stop by the betting office if I was you then to check out the odds there.

And Maz... Damn man! I know how it feels to be sick of hospitals and doctors, even though they are doing their job well. They just represent everything wrong with your life at the moment, so feel free to blow steam about them. We like them no matter what.
Send my best to the family, and get some rest! That was an order!

Hello all. ^_^ It's a long time no see, I've been sick at home all week, and felt the irresistible urge to pop in here. ^^; It's very difficult, trying to write connected sentences with any thought; been so long since I posted in fora in general. >_> Sorry, I swear you're all in my heart, not forgotten. ._.

All the best to your son, Maz, and the rest of the family too!

... and naturally, to all others too, single, dating, partnered or married, doesn't matter. Take care of yourselves, and others, those dear or less dear to you. ;)

Just the thought of someone running away from relationship with porn feels absurd... porn is nothing, affection is everything. <3

... a heart? ^^;;

Typical, I cannot make this post worth any more than it is. ;_; *runs away crying and hides behind curtains*

First time someone mentions porn in here for about half an year, and Pitkin instantly arrives... What a coincidence :D

(Sorry Pitk, I just could not resist it :D (Although you must have seen it coming, right?) Anyways, great to see you! And thanks for the wishes, we are allright I'd say.

Yesterday we got Jasper back. He has an ear infection too now :/ So antibiotics is what he's having. Other than that? Well, I am at work, doing my dull work things while Milla is at home with kids. Joona is feeling much better, it seems that the ear is not causing any pain to him anymore. If only Jasper got better I could say the situation is getting back to normal :)

Oh, and BTW. Milla got into private decoratiing school. A career in decorating business has always been her dream, and now it seems it may come true. She's going to set up her own business out of it, and that's why she managed to get funding for the school too :) I am glad for her. And glad for my purse - the school costs 2400 EUR/year..

I also managed to get the freeorion game compiled. It only took ... 2 weeks? Unfortunately I did not really have time to inspect it much, but with a quick glance it seems that there's some nasty memory leaks present. So I guess I'll be doing some bug hunting when I'll find the time :)

Happy Weekend peeps! Enjoy your weekend (and feel a bit guilty for having free though - I am sitting at work :D ).

Well I am holding my dads birthday today, since their building a new kitchen so we are cleaning like mad and have been since 8 this morning. I still have to go buy him a present too. :D
BUT... I have vacation for a week now, which is nice, but I have three customers lined up at the moment, so it seems I wont have much time.

Hiya all.
I haven't been in here much these last few days, but I have been swamped with work (and this is supposed to be my vacation). I have gotten:
A multiservice company - snowplowing, gardening etc.
A vacation-apartement reseller
A shopping service
and I still have to update the dog-kennel I have been working on last, and try to more customers through them.

I have however decided that I will give my self some free time later today, so I hope I can drop by here and get some other kind of work done... :D

How is everyone else doing? Do you have vacations too now?

Vacations? Not likely... I have a week's time at end of March/beginning of April, for the annual film festival (yay!), but nothing before then.

I have a new schedule at work, and I'm not sure yet if I'm happy with it, since it requires me to get up early from time to time (not my favorite thing), plus I've been a little tired lately, for whatever reason. Still managing to keep up my schedule of writing for this place, it seems. :D
