A bat? If it is then its actually quite weird, because I just came from my daughters room where she was crying because she was sweating all over. I was thinking that if I cracked open a window it might help, but then I thought that a bat might fly in... I didn't think it was realistic - I just had the thought. Then I thought about the opera The bat, and actually sat there and remembered that in German it was called Die Fledermaus (might be misspelled) and with that word in my head I sat down and logged in to see this post. A german member posting a picture of a bat. :) Talk aboiut coinsidence.

I think next time you should post a bigger picture of the solution. The watch is a little small and hard to recognise... ;)

Specifically, a 5-1/4" floppy?

I think you are right. I knew the whole time that it looks very familiar, but I think I would've never guessed it...
