No, but from the same studio and also the TV adaption of a classic story for children. There's also a Disney movie about the main character (which you would easily guess if I would post a picture of him).

Ok here is one I LOVED as a comic (again sorry for mixing up the topics - I just cannot get used to dividing things up in comics and cartoons.:))

As a creator of both "guess the comic" and "guess the cartoon" topics I, hereby, want to deeply protest against mixing them up and request (politely, but firmly) to cease these destructive actions. :thanks:

The problem arises from the fact that you chose a word with more than one meaning for this particular thread.

I actually sat down yesterday and wondered if this was a DAnish thing... But I cannot find a clue towards it. But OK - I will seize my revolt, and use this in the other thread once I get the turn. I will find another pic for this one when I get home (I am going to a funeral). Please remind me of the thread.

Is there are better word that doesn't have the ambiguity? "Guess the animation" doesn't really have the same sound to it.

Good idea. Here goes another one then.
All the characters have one specific thing in common, which by the way is a clue to the title. I actually remember watching this comi....cough...cartoon as a kid, but I cannot tell you what it was about. I am pretty sure I might have seen it on the Childrens Channel with English speech but before I knew English. Anyway - I LOVED it. Funny how you dont care for things like plots as a kid...

A "cartoon" is one of those single panel doodles you see in newspapers. Multi panels were "cartoon strips", and still are in the UK. Those whacky Americans call those "comic strips" though, and their "cartoons" are animated. However, somebody who draws comic strips is a "cartoonist", so yeah, total confusion ensues.

Maybe "animated cartoon", idk...

In Danish they are called Bubbi-bjørnene, but in English it seems they are called the gummi bears... I wonder why?
Oh and looking it up I found the answer:
Former CEO of Disney Michael Eisner (wonder if there is a connection to Will) overheard his son asking for the candy called gummi bears and decided that Disney should do a series about some gummi bears... It's still weird after the explanation...
It is also weird that he is the mastermind behind this (IMHO HORRIBLE) series, when he was probably the man that saved Disney from demise. He lead them from 1984-2005 and was the mastermind behind such things as The Lion King, The little mermaid and the EuroDisney park (and a lot of studios etc in the states). How can such a brilliant man, with such foresight and quality in work to do such great things - how can he also be the man behind the gummi bears??? Beats me!

I don't think the Gummi Bears are such a bad series. I don't think they are great either, but there are some nice episodes. And I'm pretty sure your daughter will love them if you show her an episode...

Btw: I'm pretty sure they are called "Gummi Bears", because they can hop around like gummi balls.

Unfortunately they are/were part of a weekly friday Disney show that is on here, so Anna already knows them. Possibly its the Danish voiceactors that really bugs me, when I think about it. It all seems so strained!
