Ooh, I forgot that was an option! :P

*Hugs!*

(Maybe I can get a group hug going) :)

Well, maybe when you rejoin with them, you can all come to Canada. I daresay it's a much friendlier place. :) (I may be a little biased, though) ;)

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

cost me people I cared about dearly This section of your post is the most unsettling. Same here... :| RWM, sorry to hear about the "carnage;" I had hoped that was all in the past. I'm concerned about what it is they did to "get even," but it's okay if you don't want to talk abou...

Re: Brain Teasers and Maths Puzzles

Now that there's some activity on these forums, maybe it's time to bring back this topic! :) It looks like I was the last one to post a puzzle (two years ago!) and nobody solved it! :o The funny part is that it's been so long, that I don't remember the solution, so if no one else wants to try, then ...

Hey Pitkin! Nice to see you! :D Sounds like life is going pretty well for you; glad to hear it! :) Kitty café, you say? Like a coffee shop that also has cats? That sounds awesome! :D @Zyx, naw, it didn't feel like spam; it was quite welcome. As I mentioned above, I didn't realize the forum was still...

Thanks, Ancsur! :D

Whew! I'm glad we got that sorted out. :) Now that everyone's in their proper accounts, I need a drink. Can I have a pálinka... erm... I mean orange juice? ;)

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Here I am in my proper account! :D So, yeah, how's everyone doing? :P EDIT: Okay, I see what happened. Ancsur had just sent me a link to the forum to show that she had posted and I posted my response right afterward, only the link she sent me had all the gobbledeegook at the end that includes log-in...

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

I'm alive! :D I'm still around and lurk here from time to time. I'm still working at Wal-Mart and have been doing so for far, far longer than I intended. :P Otherwise, I'm doing fine and hopefully, I'll get out of there soon; we'll see. :) How are you doing, eMTe? Is anyone else around here? :)

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! :D I hope everyone has had a nice holiday! :)

I kind of went on a Steam binge during the sale, so now I have lots of games to play. It'll take me a while to get through them all. :)

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Maz, the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned the Christmas Avatar was this scene. It's been over a month since your post Tormuse, so I hope that you have taken a leap of faith and are now back working as a massage therapist... if not then why not? yes its scary but sometimes you have to...

I guess I can drop by for a bit too. :) Sorry to hear that your medical troubles have been getting you down, Jayenkai. :( I wish I could offer some words of comfort. Do you have friends that you can talk to and spend time with (or play games with?) to help take your mind off things? As for myself, I...

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

(Just going to ignore that random bit of anti-semitism there) That's true, if it was expensive stuff as people are quite fickle. However the majority of my stuff is down to a huge collection of adventure games ranging from the early 90's to now and far too many eeyore toys, so I don't think that my ...

I didn't see your message on FB about *the thing* until much later, so sorry I didn't reply. I hope everything comes out okay. (er... so to spe...

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Schwing! ;) I seem to recall reading that the original *original* intent of the internet was for the military to have a decentralized way of communicating in the event of nuclear attack, so yeah, we've moved pretty far from the original intent of the internet! :D That being said, there are still ple...

(I don't know what that is; my brother sent me this puzzle) :)

Does anyone want to take a crack at this puzzle? I just realized that it's been here a month! I can give a hint if you like?

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

I was staying in Derby, England. I also visited Neustadt, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden. And yes, I sing in a barbershop music chorus. We were actually invited to Europe to perform. Our performances were very well received, especially in Sweden, and we had an awesome time. :) Other than that, just w...

And a Happy Belated Birthday to Railwaymodeler. :)

(Alternative solution to the above puzzle: Dig a hole and plant one of the trees at the bottom to form an inverse pyramid!) :D I want to revive this topic because I saw a really good logic problem earlier today which I'll transcribe here. :) (I'm gonna edit the wording a bit so the meaning is cleare...

Hi all, just thought I'd drop in to say that I'm alive and stuff. :) The other day, I got back from a trip to Europe, where I was travelling with my barbershop music chorus where we were invited to perform in England, Germany, and Sweden. I always enjoy visiting Europe and I had an awesome time. :) ...
