Re: The little Inn by the wayside
Somehow deleting all the spam and banning the spam-bots is quite a relaxing and satisfying activity. Maybe I should keep some of the spam threads alive, so I can delete them when I feel stressed or nervous.

Re: The little Inn by the wayside
Sorry for writing it in an unassuming way, but it was decided (Wikipedia would now ask "who" decided ;)) that CWF would exist no longer. I guess the end will happen 31.XII.2014, 00:00, but I'm not familiar with details. I talked to Chrolle and I decided to not pay for the site (I was the ...

I hope nobody wanted to buy sunglasses, fake Nike shoes or handbags. Deleted about a hundred spam threads and posts throughout the forum.

Re: Cart Life
Richard Hofmeier decided to make the "Everything Edition" of the game freeware. That will give you an additional playable character, the soundtrack and the bonus game "Lawn Defender". You can also download the source code of the game now. http://www.richardhofmeier.com/cartlife/e...

Re: Developing Ramblings
Unfortunately my controller (Logitech F510) doesn't work for this game (at least not with the browser version). But as said before, game is quite fun when I use the keyboard to control it. Just got a new highscore. Won't post it here though, think it's still very bad.

Re: Developing Ramblings
Space Popcorn is really a fun game. It's interesting that there are two different ways to play the game and get highscores. First of all shoot at everything, produce as many popcorn as possible and then get great scores when you use the gravity portal. This way you get high scores very fast, but it ...

Re: Lumen
I have to say that I'm quite disappointed with the game. The graphics and animations are very well done and the idea to manipulate your environment using photos is quite good and original, but unfortunately there are several negative points too. First of all the game is very short. I think you can b...

The levels I hate the most are the ones with the living tar. Took me forever to figure out how to beat them the best way.
Still playing this one during night shifts and recently bought DROD 1-3.

Re: Quest for Glory 4 1/2: So You Thought You Were a Hero?
Good to hear that you finally managed to run the game. Two more hints:
a) Skip the Poker sequence. The game will most likely crash if you try to run it.
b) Save often and in different slots. There are dead ends, gamebreaking bugs and altogether the game isn't very stable.
Have fun!

Come on, jayenkai. Can't be Wonderboy without a skateboard. That was definitely the coolest item you could get in that classic. :P Otherwise it's a nice work. Especially because there is some strategic thinking involved. Won't get you far to fire at every enemy. Instead you have to jump over several...

Re: Quest for Glory 4 1/2: So You Thought You Were a Hero?
No idea why it doesn't work for you. I've just downloaded it again and checked it and with the CWSDPMI.EXE it works like a charm for me. And I have 64bit Windows 7,Service Pack 1 as well. Did you configure the Dosbox yourself? If that's the case simple try to drop and drag the QFG.exe on the DosBox....

Re: Developing Ramblings
The Windows version is quite a fun game. Exactly the kind of stuff I need for my night shifts. Will give you are more detailed oppinion after next week end (when I work night shift again). I tried to play it during my last nightshifts, but unfortunately a .dll was missing and I didn't want to insta...

Re: The Dark Mod, Cry of Fear & No More Room in Hell Free
Thank you for posting here. The games you recommend here all look fine (wasn't "Dark Mod" just a "Thief"-Mod in the past?). But please create one single topic for each game in the future. It makes the forum much clearer and helps users to find the topics more easily. It would als...

Re: Lumen
That game really looks impressive. And the idea to use photographs to change the events or environment hasn't been used in games very often (the only other game I can think of is "Snapshot").
Will download it immediately to see if it plays as good as it looks.

Re: Quest for Glory 4 1/2: So You Thought You Were a Hero?
I would recommend to download the Dos version of the game and start it with the latest version of DosBox. That should work without any problems. Running the Windows version on a modern Windows 7/8 computer is kind of a hard task.
