Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Stumbled upon several excellent freeware games (Trilby: The Art of Theft, TAGAP, What Makes You Tick, A Tale of Two Kingdoms) in the 2007 time travel thread at GOG's forum. That brought back some great memories at this place and the time I spent here. So I just wanted to stop by and say hello to eve...

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

It seems I'm a little late to the birthday party, but I want to say "Hello" as well. :) I'm doing fine, nothing spectacular happened in my life. Still living in the same city, with the same job and more or less the same people around. Which isn't a bad thing in my eyes. In my freetime, I s...

Re: Where's the list?

Your half of index starts with "N". I believe it was one of the first games we added. Which one was the first one? I'm not completely sure, but I think it was the game with the white and black marbles (don't remember the name of it). I think "Attic Attack" and "SuperTux&quo...

Re: Where's the list?

Thank you. I didn't think of searching it on the last pages of the forum, because I didn't realize that we never created new posts, but always edited the old ones.

Found it and stickied it again.

Where's the list?

Am I blind or is the list of freeware games in this forum gone? :( I know that we don't host the games any longer, but the list linked to the threads in this forum and not to the game pages and it was extremely useful to find certain games or to get an overview which games were dscussed here. Would ...

Re: Speak it loud. Do you play old games anymore?

I'm playing "Dark Forces" at the moment and even if it has some control issues (from today's point of view), it's one of the best FPS games I've ever played.

So yes, I'm still playing old games and I still love them.

Re: Developing Ramblings

Was there ever a PC release for "Sheep Goes Right"? I absolutely love the art style, but as far as I can see it was only released for the OUYA.

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

Cool!

And they even accepted tha adult games like "Buffy", "Hentai Highschool" and "Queen of Fighters". Not many sites would have done that.

Re: The little Inn by the wayside

I just saw that you still can download the games from the Internet Archive. Excellent solution, Zxy (or whoever came up with it). Would have been sad if they would've been lost (some of them are hared to find nowadays).

Completed Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World about two weeks ago. It's not flawless and sometimes outright sadistic, but it was a great experience.

Re: What games are you playing currently

A year has passed and it's Might and Magic time again! Started to play Might and Magic II two days ago and so far it's great. I transfered my party from Might and Magic I and so the start wasn't as hard as it was in the the first game. Also there's auto-mapping now (as soon as one of your party memb...

Is there anything we can do against the spam-bots? I just deleted several hundreds posts again. It's getting annoying, they register and post faster than I can delete them.

"Dead Poets Society" is his worst movie? Maybe you should watch more movies with Robin Williams then. The guy made awful stuff like "Flubber", "Popeye", "Toys", "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Hook". The first three I agree with, but what's with the...
