Re: Why are you happy today?
I am happy because my youngest son (2 and a half days now) got rid of the breathing machine (respirator?). He was a bit of a hasty fellow, decided to get out almost two months too early... So lungs aren't fully developed yet - thus a bit of a rough start. But it's amazing how something that seems so...

Re: [Helper] Pager - Programmer, StoryLine/Dialogue
oh, and I've more or less solved the problems I was posting about. linux version is currently drawing the ball and plate, but windows version just exits - and I do not really know why is that... So perhaps Pager would help me with windows version's issues

Re: [Helper] Pager - Programmer, StoryLine/Dialogue

Re: [Helper] Pager - Programmer, StoryLine/Dialogue
I would need your help in revived MazPong... I would need 1. Help for setting up sane coordinate system... I would like having a fixed coordinate system on server maintaining plate and ball positions, for example 600x400 position points. I am not sure, but I think glut should support mapping this to...

Re: The little Inn by the wayside
I kind of agree with this habit thing... I quitted smoking year and half ago, and I indeed just made a habit of not smoking. Back then I also started running, and started from 500 metres and almost a death. However I had running as a almost daily habit for a few months, and ended up in a shape where...

Re: Black margins on both sides of desktop
on linux side if you get a 3.rd party driver for hw it is not rare to have undocumented ioctls left in driver. (calls which are used when driver is developed to do testing. Often giving userspace program access to hw via driver. If driver is accepted in linux kernel by maintainers and mr. Torvalds (...

Re: MazBotV4 :)
Hi! Back from summer cottage. I checked out the getline, and it seems that is a non standard gnu extension. I guess you do not have that supported on mac's gnu toolchain, or then i missed some define required to enable it. Unfortunately i do not have mac to test this, or any way to find out if this ...

Re: MazBotV4 :)
allright. Linking fails because getline() function is not found from compiler's libs on mac. However, i assume the old basic cfg files are no longer used. (they may still be scanned though - i assume the linker wouldn't have complained if it was unused. If you want, you can simply try comment out th...

Re: MazBotV4 :)
allright. Now i know a bit more about macs and about the compiling, the code is compiling on linux, but if there is differences between linux and mac, then those nowadays unnecessary code lines may contain something nonstandard breaking mac compilation.

Re: MazBotV4 :)
yay zyx! :) Since I have absolutely no idea about macs, i never even thought of having mac port ;) mmm. I feel quite stupid now... I thougth macs have different processor than pcs... But if it is x86, then i assume cmpxchg asm instruction is there.. Then it also propably is a little endian system - ...
