Aussies totally turned the match, just the way I like it. Go, Socceroos! ^_^ Today, Korea versus Togo... this is one match I don't really feel bad for missing. Not like I wouldn't watch it if I could, but I rather miss this than the Germans' next match. ^^; France and Switzerland; now, thi...

So far I've only found one match of poor quality myself, and that was the one from last night between Angola and Portugal. Boring as what, but all the other matches I've seen by now have been great fun (and I'm still bitter for not seeing Germany's opening match). Today, first my #2 favour...

Wohoo! Bundesrepublik! ^_^ *makes wave*

edit: Didn't convince me, though. :|

I'll miss England v. Paraguay on Saturday, but fortunately there are two other great matches to see after that still. ^_^

Grrr... mission End of the Line makes me mad; I've got to the very end of it both the times I've tried it (it's bleeding long), and died... seeing the finish in my eyes. -_- By far the most annoying mission was a lot closer to the beginning of the game, though; the one where one has to chase a train...

*sniff* I'll miss the opening match due to work. -_- Of course it has to be my favourites Germany playing... Oh well, but the latter match between Poland and Ecuador is still there; I've bought snacks and cola and ahem, a few other drinks for the night... if I'm lucky, two of my friends will come ar...

10 minutes till 4am. My computer's dying, and the portable drive which I used to store every single thing of any value broke due to powercut. I'm not going to post in the Why Are You Happy Today? thread for obvious reasons. Everything's lost, and I cannot bother even trying to retrieve anything, so ...

Well Pitkin, Chillum, Monteque, espenso, fadedmind aka Maz and eMTe prepare to ship 3 crates of your national strongest beer to Tinoco and 2 crates of the same beer to me. I'm afraid you'll have to rely on FM-san to deliver the beer; I don't do alcohol deliveries or really organize parties. Actuall...

Welcome back, Chroelle-san! It sounds like you had an enjoyable (and well, profitable ) holiday trip. ^_^ I just saw the movie Da Vinci Code, and now I feel bad for not having read the book; loved the movie, and I'll surely acquire the book soon. I also bought six new manga books today: the...

Hell has frozen over. It's cold in here, and Finland won the Eurovision song contest. Where is this world going to; there's no longer anything to joke about. More importantly, Hereford United won the promotion to League Two after beating Halifax in playoff final! It took 10 years, but we're back aga...

My goodness! That's a game I saw my elder brother playing once on Amiga, and never got to know the name of it. I've been absolutely clueless of where to find it. Someone, figure out the answer already! Ahem, sorry for an off-topic post, but the name of this game is one of the seven big mysteries of ...

After checking the final result, yes, I can confirm Scholten did score in penalty shootout. The match itself finished 1-1 after extra time, with the Finn Jari Litmanen scoring Ajax's 1-1 levelling goal. Litmanen was also the only Ajax player in addition to Scholten scoring in the shootout. edit: Her...

Fortunately I did include the parentheses in my comment on Ulf Kirsten, or I'd be in deep... ahem, excrement. I'm sorry, but not following the Bundesliga properly, I was aware of Kirsten's achievements only on paper, and as you said, in the national team there were the two gentlemen before him alway...

From the Dutch team only Jan Heintze and Arnold Scholten ring any bells rightaway, the former (born in Denmark, if I'm not mistaking him for someone else) having played in Bayern Leverkusen somewhere in the 1990s and the latter featuring for Ajax Amsterdam in the mid-90s. In the EFPA team I'm ashame...

The first solution was the one I was looking for, eMTe-san. And of course the hotel has a loudspeaker system, so that the poor receptionist doesn't have to call every customer separately. ;)

I say mariesa-san is the closest to the 'classical answer' I'm looking for, but none of you are wrong here. :D

Hint: This demands some reorganizing and redistribution of rooms. All rooms (infinite) are booked, but the receptionist being the clever person s/he is knows how to deal with the situation.
