Not entirely sure how that would work..
But what the hey, I drew a cow. (slightly modelled on your little cow doohickey)

If the slaughterhouse thing doesn't work out, I can reuse it with the UFO/abduction idea!

As easy as Choose Your Own Adventure might sound, they usually grow stupidly large whenever I try! Assume you give the player a 5 step game.. They have only 5 choices. Each choice is between 2 elements.. You'd need to code 2*2*2*2*2 different elements.. That's 32.. Now, give the player a decent leng...

The unofficial "Ideas Galore" thread

As some of you will know, I like to make games.. Lots and lots and lots of games. Each and every one is a quickly made random game of insanity, and over the past few years I think I've probably overdone it a bit! My imagination's not as good as it used to be.. When I start a project things usually c...

Meh, there's bound to be a few bugs.. The editor's a.. um.. unique one ;) And, yeah I've probably buggered up the replay at some point.. You oughta see the code to that! It's a mess!! And, yeah, in the editor mode, things can't kill you, and you should probably use IJKL to jump about wherever you du...

There is indeed!

Fixed.
Also, the difficulty's been tweaked... a bit.. ;)
I've had to reset the highscore table to do it, mind.. But it's all the better for it!

H~S : Horizontal Shooter

Shoot the folk on the right.. They're mean, and can shoot plenty muchness, especially when in big groups! Guard the folk on the left. They're your extra lives! The baddies can still kill 'em though! ONO!! [flash width=400 height=325]http://www.youtube.com/v/50rcclK1UAQ&ap=%2526fmt%3D18[/flash] A...

How odd you mention that.. I'd already considered torches really early on.. They were played with for a while, but eventually abandoned! As good as the scaling is, it's slow. If you then add lighting effects, the whole game grinds to a sluggish bore.. Or at least it does on my "If it works on t...

Okeydoke.. Additions 1. Machine gun... or rather, faster bullets! If you pick up the blue bullet, they add to your current ammo supply, and fire at a faster rate.. They fire in the order collected, though, so you might want to be sure you get the blue's last! 2. Kabloowee mines! Little brown splodge...

OK, I've opened up RetroRaider again (damn you all!) and will have a bit more of a play. Whilst I'm working on it, I'll let have a little rant/rave ;) I like the explosion/gunfire ideas.. I'll have a play with that. Trapdoors.. .. That'd be annoying I'd thing.. The holes are almost invisible enough ...

Saw?! Oh, the spinny thing.. Yeah, that's just a none-moving enemy ;) I cheated! Um, I'll add a "Next Level" thing on, but the game just loads levels in filename order, so, whether they'll stay put is another thing altogether. Plus you'll be restarting, all your ammo, health replenished, a...
