Haha, oh man, I didn't even realise this one was up for consideration on the site. I'm glad it didn't make it, I don't even include this one on my portfolio. So, yeah, sorry about the quality of the game, though it was a mostly solo project done in less then three months. I hope Derelict makes up fo...

One other person noted that bug in a pre-1.2 version, it should be fixed now. Can you let me know if there is still no map, if there isn't can you email me a screenshot?

That's really good news.

I have no issue with paying for the rest of the game if the first half turns out good.

The game is Rambo: First Blood Part II. Definitely one of the better Commando-esque games on C64

Awesome idea for a thread. Wish I had discovered it earlier.

Shame, the game looks great and is very relaxing to play, though it has some minor glitches though and the distance between checkpoints is often frustratingly long. Ahwell.

No need to worry. It seems HOTU is back. You can no longer download games directly from their site, but it's still an impressive collection of game infos and the site helps you to find download sites. http://homeoftheunderdogs.net/ It looks like this is a clone with nothing to do with the original ...

Loved this game as a kid (at least until DooM came out), thought it was very cool how it had slot machines, I actually won the jackpot once but got really annoyed when my game didn't save for whatever reason. I only ever had the shareware version so I'll definitely sit down with the full version and...

I like the style, and absolutely loved the original games, Pitfall II on C64 was the first game I ever finished. The website seems to be down, is there anywhere we can get the demo?

Very sad to see it go too. One of my goals early on in my experiments with freeware games was to make one that was good enough for HOTU, but it looks like that far-fetched goal is finally dead. It looks like a few hard-core fans are trying to revive it, but none of the unofficial clones look that pr...

Thanks for all of the feedback =) you guys rock. A new edition is coming, may still be awhile yet, but it'll be far far better then the current game. The biggest new feature will be online multiplayer! Though there will be some catering for localisation as well, how'd you like to hear wooden acting ...
