There is no misconception, nor misunderstanding.

This is a freeware game and I thought this was a freeware site.

If you wish to only include games you can host, so be it.

No, I didn't think it was.... ;) There are currently (inclusive of the Hunter squads) 5 Mods in the FW forum. That seems like more that enough to make progress. And prior to anything, we need a roadmap of what we hope to achieve as far as style, layout, presentation is concerned (look at my Xenon 20...

Game Review: Xenon 2000 Back in January 1988, The Bitmap Brothers released a game called Xenon which caused a stir at the time. A top down scrolling arcade shooter, it received quite some aclaim for it's flashy 16 bit graphics (hey, 1988 remember!), excellent sound effects and challenging gameplay....

Ok, I'm having another go :p

Another one of my sentimental faves here. I remember loading this up from the tape drive and playing this on the 64 when I was a far younger man (before my spirit was crushed and my will to live extinguished ;)).

And any comments on eMTe's suggestions, Eric? Separating the FW game listing and FW game discussion was pretty much was the point of my initial comments... I'm unfamiliar with phpBB2 Plus software but I imagine that creating a new forum and moving the relevant threads wouldn't be to difficult - and...

Yes, I see your point about that difference I made. I just have more sympathy for parents who have to work as opposed to those that just want to go to the pub or shopping. Needless to say I did understand the distinition you drew - food has to be put on the table, bills have to be paid, etc. Howeve...

I gave up 'other' substances even longer ago...... ;) That work places become smoke free isn't completely surprising I think - I wonder how productivity suffers with people taking a 7 minute (the time on average it takes to smoke a single cig) break regularly throughout the day. There are also lower...

It's been over a year for me, off the fags. Cigarettes, that is....

*cough*

(Pun intended)

And you know what, I really miss it.

While I feel a lot better for not smoking, I really did enjoy smoking. The taste, the smell, the mental unwinding associated with firing one up.

It would be nice to see a forum separating the game listing and any discussion which may occur - perhaps it could be entitled "Freeware Submissions" and all the game posts could be moved there. The existing Freeware forum would remain as it is although renaming it to "Freeware Gaming&...

Hmm, me too. I've done little but sit in infront of the computer for the last few days. Well, I have pottered around in the shed tidying the place up a little and doing a few small things but generally just enjoying some quiet time and goofing off :) I've started another game of Fallout 2, playing S...
