Thanks for the beer Chillum, cool avatar by the way...it's by far the best you've had (and I'm not saying that just because you have a large calibre weapon pointed at me :)). Hey PS/Freak, I thought the bad spelling looked familiar. ;) Chroelle, Lets just say that I missed you guys so I thought I sh...

Man...things are gettin' kind of psychodelic in here! Dizi...lay off the magic mushrooms babe...;) Sorry I haven't played a more active part lately guys but things are getting real funky in RL. I am currently working full time and in addition, doing bookwork for the cafe that I am part owner of. To ...

There are a few games I just can't get to work with either VDMSound or dosbox and also some that work for a while then close inexplicably whilst playing (usually just after I start really enjoying the game. ;)). I had a hunch that the problem might be due to incorrect soundcard detection and that wa...

Thanks MrG! :) I have another question guys: How do I find out the address, IRQ and DMA for my sound card? Actually, I already know the IRQ setting from: System Properties, Hardware Tab....Device Manager... Sound, video and game controllers...then double click my sound card name to open its properti...

WinXP Tech Help
Hi guys, I know there is one other related thread in this forum but I thought it might be a good idea for all the Win XP stuff to be in one place. If more questions are added later, I can edit this post and make an index of them to make things a bit easier... My question is: Is there an easy way to ...

I just finished stage 15 - 'The Lost General' today. It was a good one for pumping up experience on my weak units (64 turns!). There are some stages that are quite difficult (I was stuck on 'The Seige of Elsenfar' for ages), most are challenging but winnable. Ocasionally you get a real easy one whic...

I did get past that mission by going back to the previous and making more gold. Grand Knights are cool, but I prefer Paladins because if you send one or 2 out with a small troop of Horsemen, you can heal with out villages. (same tactic used for Druids with a troop of elves) I have to say my favorite...

Hi Espenso, Just tell them that you have so much love to give, that it has to be spread around some. ;) The trick is to put on an innocent face (eyes wide open and sincere). Even if they don't accept the words...they will surely fall for your expression. Tinoco, Sorry 'bout that, but if it...

Hey RWM, Do you own your apartment? I reckon it would be really cool if you put holes in the walls so the trains could go from room to room through the little tunnels. Then you could have a massive scaled world railway system through your whole house! Now that would be something I would pay to see! ...
